Got this for my Galaxy S7 Edge to charge on my nightstand without going through USB cables (plugging unplugging daily tends to wear the connector/cord connection to breaking). Works just as expected. Don't need to be too precise in putting it on. I've only had one night where I must have knocked it askew and it didn't charge. No more frequent than nights where the plug got pushed free of the wall plug with this hardwired charging. Charges pretty quickly - only a bit slower than the fast charge cable mode. Good device - I'm happy with it.

The charger was ready to go out of the box. Just plug it in and start charging. My Samsung phone charged very slowly at first, but charging got faster after a few uses. It is not a "fast" charging unit; however, it is extremely convenient and provides a lighted display when charging. I would have given 5 stars if the charging was a bit faster. I suggest one for home and one for the office.

Got this for my S9 and it works great. Might have to reposition once in a while.
