Convenient, but ...

I probably wouldn't have bought it separately. The idea I suppose is that you can place your phone on top of the charger in various positions. But after opening the package and reading the instructions, it became clear that the "wireless" charging happens only when the charging cable is plugged into an electrical outlet. Unless I'm missing something and it can be used without being plugged in (meaning it can "store" charging power), there's really no benefit other than you don't have a cable coming out of the bottom of the phone.

Great Charger

Great, simple phone charger

This simple device works great. Charges in a little over an hour. If charging the battery on my pacemaker would on be so simple!!

I thought I would have to purchase a new phone but this.charger does the trick and actually charges faster than the plug in charger.
