I have a Samsung Note 5 and this charger works well with it. However, you have to find the sweet spot. If the phone is just a bit too high or low on the pad it will not start charging. I have a thin case from UAG and I can get a charge with it on, but the sweet spot is even smaller, to the point that even a slight rotation can keep it from charging. I've gone to the point of just using the charger as a normal plug-in since I don't like trying to find the sweet spot before I go to bed or removing my case.

It doesn't charge any faster then my galaxy s7edge cord. It makes the phone extremely hot to the touch. Also, I didn't think about this but you can't use the phone while it's charging like you can with the cord.

I bought this charger and the other Samsung Charger for my S8+. My plan was to have one at home and one at work. Unfortunately, this charger will not charge my phone. If I have the charger plugged into my work computer, it will charge my phone but it's a very very very slow charge. When I use the charger that came with the device, it will charge for a few second, charging paused, and the light will flash and no charge. I tried returning the item and the system shows that I have to pay $12 to return it. Uh no, I'm not going to pay to return an item that doesn't work. Before returning the charger, I've read some reviews/complaint about this charger and my phone, they're also having the same issue. The rep states it might be defective so I had to resettle for a new device. We'll see if the new device works when it comes in. Bummer..I was hoping it will work.

does the job, you have to place it just right though, a couple times i have placed it on the charger and it never charged because i did not set it right, get into the habit of looking at the lights, and yes it looks super cool on a desk

It says that it is a fast charger however, the wall charger works alot better than the pad. I recently bought a Note 8 and an otter box case. The phone charges for about 5-7 mins then doesnt charge. This isnt a problem when I use the charging cable that came with my phone. Additionally, when I take my phone out of the case to charge on the pad, i notice the battery overheats. I will be returning this product because i do not want to damage my battery.

I only got this as part of the free bundle. I have mixed reviews as it doesn't charge my S7 as fast as anticipated. I've charged the phone, left for the day and then come back to put it on the dock again and it doesn't seem to charge; rather it makes me unplug and plug the cord back into the dock. At least when I have the phone charging via cord, I can still work on the phone and it will have a steady charge. The only time I see this charger as a plus, is if you have to plug it in to a hard to reach area where the cord might continually fall...so this is more or less a paper weight.

I bought this item 5 days ago and it worked great for the first 2 days, but now it doesn't charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. All it does is start to charge, but with few seconds it pauses the charge . All I see is a blue blinking light. I return the first one and got a new one the other day and I asked the employee regarding the issue I have . The employee said try a new one it should work and same results. I am going to go back to best buy tomorrow and see what they say now. I loved the product when it works but now I am disappointed with the product!

Excellent Charging. But wont charge through the case I have on my phone. I guess its too thick, so I have to remove my case every time I want to charge it. Inconvenient and annoying.

Good for easy charging without having to worry about playing with wire. Needs time to charge with s8 and s7. Little slow but worth it.

The box may say that it is a fast charger but unfortunately it is not. I plugged it in and placed my Samsung galaxy s8 on it and the time it would take to get fully charged would have been 2 1/2 hours. I'm sorry but I would not consider that a fast charge when my regular fast charger does in in about an hour. I would think twice about getting this product.
