The perfect charger to make sure I don't have a problem with razor stubble!

Like all Samsung items, this CHARGER is great, well built and added to my family of Samsung. Only reason for 4 Star, versus 5, is that, there are after market devices, cheaper, and faster, even though I stay with Samsung, I have friends who use either the cheapest, or what's available. Overall, very pleased.

I bought this on kind of an impulse in order to take advantage of a sale, so I hadn't had a chance to read reviews beforehand, and now I'm on the fence about returning it. It looks good, works well, charges fairly quickly, and doesn't run hot or cause my phone to heat up like some other wireless chargers do. However, getting it to make a solid connection on the first try is a bit like playing nickle slots at the casino. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try... oh, there it goes. Never mind. Try, try, there, got it! I'm not sure if the problem is with the charger, my phone (Galaxy S9+), or the thick case I have on for protection (Otterbox Defender series), but I think that in the two weeks I've been using this charger, I've gotten a first time connection all of twice. Way more often than not I havce to pick the phone up and set it down three, four, or sometimes seven times, slightly repositioning it each time, until the charging light stays lit for more than 15 seconds before flashing at me and my phone stating, "Wireless charging paused." I really, really do like this charger. And if it made a good connection on the first attempt even 80% of the time I'd probably not have a bad thing to say about it. But the fact that it's maybe only about 5% of the time that I'm connecting on the first try that is making me think this isn't working out. As a comparison, even with my big ol' Otterbox case on, my wife's Mophie wireless charger connected with my phone and charged it on the first attempt on all three attempts. The downside was that the back of the case was warm to the touch when I removed it from the charger, so I definitely feel safer using the Samsung charger. So... choose your battles carefully, I guess. 3 stars out of 5.

Got this to go along with my iPhone X. Does exactly what is supposed to do.

Love how quickly it charges my phone and headphones. It’s nice not having to try and find the charging port in the middle of the night. All I have to do is place the phone on it and away goes the charging.

Is very lightweight charges pretty quickly. I bought another one as a gift.

This product does as it states; it is a wireless fast charger for Samsung G8+ BUT it does have some draw backs. When using this charger with an Otter Box Defender case, you must remove the back of the case before placing the phone on to the charger. This means that you cannot just place your phone on the charger and walk away. Instead you need to remove the back of your case and wait to be sure that your phone is in the exact spot in order to charge which takes away from the effency of the wireless charger. This is the second Samsung Wireless Charger that we bought (as we thought the issue was with the charging unit itself). PLEASE keep in mind that the charger DOES provide a fast charge.

Charges quickly but it's very particular on how you have to place it on the pad. I put it down pretty close to the center and it charges for a couple minutes then stops until I reposition it . Which is annoying since the whole purpose is to be more convenient but if I have to watch it for the first couple minutes to make sure it's still charging then it does the opposite of being convenient. If it didn't charge a bit when placed incorrectly this wouldn't be an issue, it's not too bad overall though. Just not as hassle free as I had thought.

Got the on sale as a gift. They love it. No more cables to charge the phone and no significant different vs charging with cable. Also charges iPhone compatible devices. Overall very satisfied with this product. No problems with it whatsoever.

My wife and I both got one of these to put in the living room. This product has worked great to set your phone down to charge while hanging out without needing to plug it in to a cord. It fast charges my Galaxy S8 and doesn't get hot or make any noise.
