The charger uses what appears to be a standard Samsung adapter to send power through a USB to USB-C cord that is only about 4 feet long. It is very limiting in the placement of the charger base. I am now purchasing an additional cable that is much longer to allow the base to be located on a table near the outlet instead of on the floor because the cord wouldn't reach the table.
