I bought this for my Mom as a gift. It was easy for her to work after initially showing her what to do.

We bought this for a child's room and it was perfect for streaming.

This is a basic blue ray player, connects to the internet , has some basic programs like youtube, netflix. The interface in not as user friendly as the Sony , which is obviously costlier.

Easy to setup and a great value for the price. It makes movies look amazing - better than watching them in HD on TV. Would highly recommend.

This is a great blu ray player. I love the way you can access Pandora, Hulu and Netflix through the menu. Such a great price for all it can do.

I like the built in wifi. No extra equipment needed, kids can watch Netflix or blu ray. A nice unit.

Setting up and connecting to the internet is easy. Good for movie streaming on Netflix and audio streaming on Pandora. I've had the unit for 3 months and it has signed me out of Netflix twice. Not sure what the real issue is. I've also had a couple instances where the unit wouldn't turn on with my remote. I had to unplug it and plug it back in for it to register again.

Samsung makes great DVD players the technology is getting greater but needs more of the apps or add some apps so it can play from the DVD player

I usually always buy Samsung products and am never disappointed! This is a great player and very small to fit anywhere in a media center.

It does what it's supposed to & the picture looks good so that's what counts right. To be a critic, I think it attracts a ton of dust for being a little thing, kind of loud when changing scenes or starting up sounds like it's gonna break, lastly the light to let you know it's on is pretty dim on top so in the shelf I can't see from the couch if it's on or not.

I purchased this model because it was recommended by Consumer Reports. AND it was on sale, to boot! Excellent machine for an excellent price.

This was on sale for about $60 so I could not say no to this. Also cheaper option to convert my hd tv to a smart tv and bluray player in one.
