The Samsung BluRay player is a low profile player that was easy to set up and begin using. Connected via HDMI to a Vizio 46" HDTV. The picture quality is very nice and there have been no issues with the function of the player. The remote was intuitive for my 7 year old. My only complaint is the selection buttons on the player itself are located in circular fashion on top and are not easy to see. They blend in with the color/surface of the player. If I don't use the remote I have to remember which side of the selector is "Stop", etc. and most times it takes the process of elimination. Not a big deal but a minor inconvenience. We don't take advantage of the smart apps so cannot comment on those but the player did quickly and without problem connect to our wifi. I would buy another Samsung player and recommend this model to anyone looking for a good value with nice features.

I bought this as a replacement blu ray player. I love the Samsung products and the added features such as Netflix and Pandora which were easy to access and open for using. I would recommend Samsung products to others and will continue to buy them for myself.

The DVD player is very compact, very easy to install, and very easy to use.

Easy instructions, easy to use, love the quality and clarity of the picture

This Blu-ray player has exceeded our expectations for the reasonable price it cost. Easy to navigate menu functions and excellent video quality. The only complaint I would have is that the remote control should have back-lighting buttons so you can see what buttons you are hitting when watching a movie in a dark room. This can be solved with a decent quality universal remote.

The price was awesome, the features are great if you don't own a "smart tv"

Great unit for the price. Set-up was quick and easy, options for output connections are good, Wi-Fi worked great out of the box and once connected could access web content via the pre-loaded apps.

Picked this unit up to replace an early model Sony which constantly had connection issues. I have a new Samsung smart TV in the bedroom and this unit turns my old but reliable plasma TV in the family room into a close replica. Easy to hook up and connect to my network. The remote is a smaller version of the smart TV's and there was no learning curve. Definitely recommend.

This has to be THE most easily installed Blue-Ray on the market. Two cords. Done. And that's with a Wii, TV, audio receiver and iPod dock! I love the online features such as Netflix and Hulu, and it is so small I have to think of ways for fill the space formerly filled by the old monster unit! I have a Samsung TV, so now using ONE REMOTE instead of THREE is real progress!

We wanted this mostly for Netflix in the living room...it works wonderfully! Has pre-loaded apps that are great, turns on & loads up really quickly. Overall an awesome blu-ray player! The only...slightly negative thing we have to say is that the buttons on the player & the remote are just a bit touchy. But we're sure that will fade with time...or we'll adjust to it!

Amazing! I love this, i watch youtube, netflix, radio, i can store music, pictures, videos. it plays burnt dvds. Lol, the only thing i really don't care for is how sensitive the buttons on the actual dvd/blue ray player are. I can take a dvd out and accidentally lay it on top of the buttons and whatever button it touches, it does that, play, eject, power...
