This model replaced an older top of the line Samsung player. There are a few clues that it it not a high dollar model, but it performs better in every way. On the plus side, the remote has a button to light up all the buttons, which I like.

I WAS A LITTLE APREHENSIVE BUYING ANOTHER SAMSUNG BLU-RAY PLAYER SINCE MY LAST ONE DIDN'T LAST VERY LONG BEFORE IT WOULD "FREEZE UP". BUT I BOUGHT THIS ONE AND SO FAR I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH IT. WHAT A DIFFERENCE 4 YEARS MAKES. THE BLU-RAY PLAYER IS ABOUT 1/2 THE SIZE OF MY LAST ONE, AND IS VERY USER FRIENDLY. LIGHTWEIGHT, COMPACT, AND EASY TO CONNECT. SO FAR SO GOOD WITH THIS ONE. MAYBE 4 YEARS IS A LONG ENOUGH LIFE FOR A BLU-RAY PLAYER???? I DON'T KNOW. SAMSUNG IS A GREAT NAME THOUGH AND 2 OF MY TV'S ARE SAMSUNG AND HAVE BEEN OUTSTANDING.

Boought this for Christmas for my hubby and he was happily surprised. Since he is 76 and I am 75, I have no idea how to hook it up so waiting for our friend to come over and do it. Friend has been busy so we are still waiting. <grin>

Have had no problems so far. Easier to setup than I thought it would be. Works great. No quality issues.

This is a great, compact blu-ray player. I love the fact that it also has wifi capabilities. Also, the price is very fair for the features.

This is just another example of how solid and reliable Samsung products are. Simple to set up and loaded with the apps I use the most. The guests have no problems using it either, its very user friendly and a great picture too.

This was purchased as a gift for a less than tech savvy individual for Christmas. Needless to say, I was very pleased to find out how quickly and easily I was able to get them up and running on their WiFi as well as Netflix and Vudu!

Great Quality with a Compact Design. Its a little noisy but nothing too irritating. I like the user friendly menu and the Netflix and Hulu capabilities. I'd recommend this blu ray player to anyone that wants a quality blu ray/dvd player.

It was very easy to connect but I have a Polk Surround Bar and I was not getting sound when using my Samsung - Blu-ray Player. I change my setting on my TV Audio from Dolby to PCM 2 - channel audio and that fixed the problem.

This Samsung Blu-ray was very easy to set up, and I like the compact design. The instructions for installing the updates were very easy to understand and will eventually come in handy when the time comes to download updates.

This Blu-ray player was easy to set up and the picture is great. Very easy to use. The Blu-ray controller also works on my Samsung TV.

Our BluyRay player was what we went to BEST BUY for, and got exactly what we needed, and no more. Very helpful sales representative who scoped out our limited needs and kept us from more than we wanted with just the right thing

I only use Samsung BluRay players, I had one of the first ones in 2008, upgraded under warranty in 2011 to 6900 series and works great. This one is for basement office and went with this basic BluRay for occasional movies.

I primarily bought this to replace my older player without WI-FI. Now I mostly stream Netflix since my current TV isn't a smart model. I like the price so I'm satisfied.

My last Blue Ray player gave up the ghost so I went looking for a new one. I couldn't believe the small size of this new Samsung. The set up was a breeze and everything has worked without incident since I got it connected.

good product. we have tried several other blu ray players and ended up returning them after short use. this blu ray player with the built in WiFi is definitely worth the price over just a standard with a hardwire plug in.

Bought this Blu Ray player for my parents so they could watch videos off of a flash drive. Reads everything so far and is a bonus with netflix and youtube. The only con I have is it's a little slow at reading from the USB.

This Blu Ray player was purchased for 49 during the holiday season. Was looking for a device that could provide streaming capabilities both through wireless and wired connections. This model had both and has approximately 12 apps Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Vudu are the major ones. It does not have Amazon Prime at this time. Tested the unit with Netflix, Hulu Plus, Rhapsody, Opera TV Apps. Music worked well using both wireless and wired connections. Movies and Hulu Plus TV shows did have some buffering and still video issues using the wireless connection. Switched over to Ethernet wired connection and no still video problems observed so far. The streaming video quality is ok, not on par for higher quality video through the MVPDs - Cable, Telco or Satellite offerings.
