We put off for years getting a blu ray player. Broke down and bought this one after doing a hard review of electronics in home and what was needing updating. Wanted to be able to stream Netflix instead of waiting on dvds to show up. While a fast service, its nice not to be limited by number of discs allowed per mailing. For a $1 more per month can stream on 2 screens at same time with streaming package. The picture quality and ease of use is great. Highly recommend this product

I purchased this blu Ray player for my 15 year nephew for Christmas,I was so impressed with all the features that I went and purchase 3 more just like it. One for a 12 year old,41 year old and a 67 year old. Very user friendly,simple to setup.easy to use. I like the fact that the wifi is built in that is a nice bonus. I just wish I would have bought them all four at the same time.

Easy to operate has all the bells and whistles, needed small blueray for bedroom, that was wireless. Works great.

I purchased this Blu-ray player about 6 months ago and am very pleased with it so far. Picture quality is very good and controls work great, especially with Samsung TV's. Comes with Netflix preinstalled and can also play most video formats direct from a flash drive or external hard drive when plugged into the usb port on the front of the unit. Has done everything I need it do and a good value for the price for a WiFi Blu-ray player.

We bought this Blu-ray because of the wi-fi capabilities, so we could use netflix. This product was easy to hook up and figure out how to use. It has met our expectations perfectly. I have been a Samsung customer for a while now and I have always been happy with their services and products! I would recommend this for anyone looking for a blu-ray.

I bought this Samsung blu-ray player to replace an older DVD player, and I couldn't be happier. The wi-fi was really easy to set up, and when I ran the update program, it showed me the unit was already up to date. Now I can easily access Vudu, Youtube and other apps directly through the blu-ray in addition to watching my DVD/blu-ray library. Great picture, easy to use menus, and it's a very small unit - which turns out to be a big plus when putting it in front of my LED TV on the same stand (doesn't block the view in any way). The buttons all operate with just a soft touch and are very sensitive (no "physical" buttons), and the unit is so light that it tends to move around when putting in/removing discs - but that's it for the down side. Highly recommended.

First off, I bought this blu ray player thinking I could totally replace my chromecast with it. WRONG! You cannot download any APPs and only a limited few are included. However, the APP's included are no nonsense and the essentials (Netflix, Hulu Plus, VUDU, Youtube). You cannot cast your android or computer devices to mirror the screens. You can however use your phone apps to search play and cast videos on the included programs. So you can search for a youtube video on your phone and then pair and cast it to the blu ray player. Thank god because a wireless USB dongle keyboard isn't compatible with the USB slot on the machine, so using a keyboard is a no go. The player itself is your run of the mill player and what you would expect out of Samsung. The remote is a disappointment as the volume button only works on samsung televisions. Why can't they allow you to program the remote to work on a Sony television? In conclusion, it works well as a Blu Ray player, but don't be fooled by it's "SMART PLAYER" marketing. It's quasi-mirroring device is acceptable. You can get a player with more features (the only output available is HDMI) with a different brand at a lower price.

The old DVD Player began acting up, so it was time to upgrade to a Blu-ray Player. It's nice that DVD movies will still play on this Blu-ray Player and look good, but renting Blu-ray movies now is awesome in comparison. The built in Wi-Fi is great too for streaming stuff from the internet over the home network. I saw some great reviews for this Samsung Blu-ray Player, and I made the right choice!

Very easy to use. The setup is a piece of cake. Watching dvd's and blue rays on this player is a clear, clean and crisp picture. I enjoy watching all my movies, using this blue ray player. It was also a great price. It was definitely worth it. I recommend this to anyone.

Purchased this for my in laws to give them Blue Ray playing ability and net flix access. I bought the same player a while back for our own use and it makes your TV a smart TV. WiFI works well and only complaint I have is the ridiculous system Samsung has on the top to manually control the player. If you have a Samsung TV, it wil work great with it as the remote is pretty easy to use.

I purchased this Bluray player with a non smart TV at the same time to save money because I was going to get a Bluray player anyway. Having the Smart features built into the Bluray player is awesome! I use the YouTube app a bunch. The streaming is seamless and very reliable. This Bluray player is tiny and very easy to place in different locations. Can't go wrong with it!

We needed to replace our old DVD player, so we looked for a Samsung device so that it would work with our Samsung Smart TV. We couldn't be happier with this DVD player. It was simple to install, interfaces perfectly with the TV and is easy to use. In addition, it is small, sleek and lightweight so it stacks nicely. This is a good product and I would recommend it.

When HDTV's first emerged on the market, I wanted a top quality Blu Ray player so I paid over $500 for a Sony Play Station. Now for well under $100 Best Buy offers Blu Ray players with built in WiFi and numerous Smart TV functions including Netflix, YouTube, Amazon and many others I can ever use this device to view my movies and pictures stored on my WD My Cload.

On Black Friday, I purchased a Sharp 1080P LED television. It has an excellent picture, but it had no smart options. The Samsung BD-F5700/ZA Blu-ray player is a smart player with plenty of available apps. The Blu-Ray playback is excellent, but I have been using it to stream Netflix and Vudu. It has terrific playback with no issues. For the price, it can't be beat!
