You can only use the apps that come installed already. Also shuts off after inactivity, which often loses your place on the disc. It's ok; I probably would have gotten a different one had I known these things.

Love the BluRay player, it's great! Easy to set up, goes great with my samsung tv

The BluRay player works like it is supposed to and I like that my TV can pick it up without changing the input setting on the remote. The "smart" features are a little slow. It took a little bit to setup Netflix, Hulu, and other "smart" features...but connecting to the service, it hangs a little bit. I didn't realize it had these features until I got home...so it isn't a deal breaker for me.

After having an "old" Samsung Blu-ray player that was as big as a VCR for almost five years, it was time for me to upgrade to a new one under $100. Best Buy had this on sale for $67.99, & I picked it up right away. This Samsung player is as small as a Nintendo Wii & has a touch/ motion control panel on it. The controls are very easy to use whether using the panel or the remote control. There is no display screen, only a light for the power. After having to put up with slow load times on my old player, this goes straight to the player menu & then loads the disc in only a few seconds. The visuals and audio were very impressive on all the movies & shows I have seen (especially Pacific Rim and even South Park episodes). I still haven't use the Netflix, CinemaNow, & the other WiFi features yet. I hope too eventually. As a straight up, Blu-ray player, it has been a great purchase for me.

This was a replacement for an older Blu-ray player that stopped playing blu-rays. It is much smaller, and the Wi-Fi was easy to connect to my network. We have streamed movies on Netflix without any problem. Looking forward to enjoying it for many years.

It works great. I'm glad that I upgraded and got something more up to date.

Set up on 3 different tv units was tricky. The plugs were not used the same way. We even had to purchase a new wire for set up on non digital tv. But once it's on it's great. We also had to update program immediately to get Netflix and other programs in.

We have an high quality home entertainment system and even though this is an inexpensive product it has been prefect for our system. It is easy to set up and use and seems to be very high quality.
