Excellent Simple Blu-ray Player

It does exactly what you would expect in a player, AND it has most any additional service (Netflix, Pandora, etc.) you might need. We mostly use it for Netflix and blu-rays and it works like a charm!

Great picture quality; starts in middle of a DVD.

It only took 10 minutes to plug the unit in, set it up, and play a DVD. Its wireless connection works very well for streaming content from Netflix and updating the firmware. The picture quality is excellent and I'm very satisfied, especially for the price. The only negative so far is that when inserting a DVD, it often starts in chapter in the middle. It's not an issue with the DVD, as it's occurred with several. We have to go back to the main menu and "start over". I've updated the firmware to the latest revision, but it still occurs. I'm hoping a future revision will resolve that.

Real happy with our first-ever Blu-Ray player!

The Samsung was a great choice, especially since we had a Samsung Smart TV already - the two machines are talking to each other like old friends... (And our other TV - a Sony - seems to get along fine with the Samsung Blu-Ray too!)

Great product, great price

I needed something that would play other media files and there are so many that play one type of file but not the other. This one plays a majority of them, which was exactly what I was looking for. The control buttons are on top and are very touch sensitive, this doesn't bother me but every once in awhile a slight touch on accident will turn it on or open it up unintentionally. Not a fan of the USB port being in the front but again that wasn't a deal breaker. Overall, i've been very happy and satisfied. It was easy to set up and connect to my internet network and haven't had any problems since I purchased this.I also bought an LG dvd player and I wish I would've gotten the samsung first because I would've bought it again when I needed the second one.
