I like the blu-ray player and the fact I have access to Netflix. If I had access to amazon that'd be even better to rent and buy movies. Another downer is we've only had our player for a few weeks and the touch pad is already out.. The remote won't even connect to it. But we have a great warranty so it will be replaced. Other than that, it really is nice.

We appreciate the "smart-ness" of the player. We do not have to set up everything for it, since it reads details from the DVDs or Blue-rays. It works well with our new LED TV.

Works well, setup was easy, simple to use. Nice compact size.

I already have a smart tv so all the extra features really serve me no purpose, but overall it hasn't let me down yet and its a decent size so it doesn't take up much space.

This has been the best Blu Ray Player I've ever owned. It doesn't have the "wait" time that my old player had when reading a disc. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this for my father so we could watch the newly restored "Jaws" on Blu-ray on his HDTV. This hooked up in seconds and we were ready to watch Blu-rays very quickly! The wireless setup took a tad longer but wasn't hard to configure and confirm connection. It has a conveniently placed front USB port which I used to show a homemade film on a 16 gig thumb drive. Using the easy to understand remote (easy for me since I own similar Samsung products) I found my h.264 file and it played beautifully through the player and looked sharp on his HDTV. I also like the small form factor and discreet profile of this unit. My father can be a stickler for having "too many gadgets" in his house. It comes with some nice apps to explore media content on Hulu Plus, Pandora, and Vudu and is a breeze to setup. My only criticisms are that the unit itself feels slightly flimsy, but nothing that will cause you headaches. Also, the top buttons are inconveniently placed if you situate this unit between the shelves of a television stand. But the excellent remote is where it is at anyway! And finally, this model DOES NOT come with an HDMI cable! And that is the only way to connect this unit to a TV!! That is kind of ridiculous. But I got a 4' DYNEX HDMI for 10 bucks that worked out very nicely. I definitely would recommend this Blu-ray player to a friend! For the price, you get everything you need (except an HDMI cable). It worked great and is easy to setup and navigate (hint: read the manual). If you're new to Blu-ray then this is the player for you! And get the new Jaws disc on blu! It is a revelation! :-)

I dd not have time to research much for this purchase. This model fit the bill and according to my brother (it was a gift for him), has worked well since he got. No complaints here.

Excellent price!! Easy setup-no doubt! But you have to hit different button to start blue-ray movie!!

bought two of these, #1 for a new Samsung smart TV & then #2 for an older Insignia 1080p. now have #1 on old 720p Insignia, will buy a 3rd for just BRD play on the Samsung.

Met our needs for a DVD plAyer. Easy to use! Wifi was a must. Needed something for a kids bedroom.

I did buy the BD-F5900 along with the Samsung smart TV and they work perfectly together.Both are smart(i would even say too smart)and outstanding.For the beginner,like myself,the player is easy to navigate.It does update itself on a regular basis,so you are never left behind.The only thing i do not get-how it attracts dust so fast on its surface.Looks like a dust magnet.Other than that-i am perfectly fine with the purchase.

We bought this to go with our new HDTV. Picture looks great and the setup was simple. It has some internet enabled features and apps but not really a "smart" appliance. It is a bit noisy. After inserting a Blu-ray, I can hear the disc spin up. I wouldn't want to use this player in my bedroom. (don't forget to add USB memory stick to use BD live features)

Connected extremely well with my Samsung TV. It automatically switches to the correct setting on my TV when I put in a disc into this DVD player. It plays music CD's as well...

Actually ended up getting this for free (with the use of reward points) so price, quality is great.

This is great for playing blue rays or streaming Netflix to the TV.
