Clunky apps - but great player for the money

This is a wi-fi enabled player which is great, but not having an app to enable your phone or tablet to control it is frustrating. Having to scroll through with the remote to enter ID's and PW'd for the apps is slow. The apps are a bit clunky at times, but are dependent upon the processor and wi-fi.

Great DVD player for the money.

Great player - poor external design

Best 4k Upconvert Player available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is the best BluRay Player i have had and i have had them all 2 biggest pluses are load time for Disc is less than 45 seconds to menu not the usual 2 or 3 minutes from other players Also from the time to turn on until the time you connect to wireless and able to access online streaming is about 30 seconds As Usual Samsung is way ahead of the competition .. I would recommend this player for anyone even of you are not pairing with a Samsung TV ... Highly Recommend

Pairing the two products from the same manufacturer means very little setup between the two. They both see each other and your able to use either remote to control both without having to punch in codes. Its wifi also allows you to connect to Amazon or Netflix streaming and many others. Great product. Easy to use.

Samsung BluRay Player w/Apps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great Player. I have used this for everything but BluRay so far, so I can't comment on that. You only have four connections in the back: HDMI, Toslink Fiber Optic, Ethernet and the Power Cord. Simple, huh? This player is only designed to be easily connected to a modern TV, NOT a tube TV. If you have a Samsung TV, this will also operate with almost a 'one button' effort. The apps are great to use either wireless or plugged in, I've tried both and will stay with the plugged in for speed. My only complaint is SAMSUNG should put an 'OPEN' Disc Tray button on the remote, that would be much easier than trying to fumble for the touch sensitive pad on top of the unit. Otherwise get this and enjoy.
