I like that menus are intuitive, and easy to navigate. The reason for 4 stars, is I would prefer better build quality, as the player has a cheap feel. However, unless it's going to be bumped around, or handled roughly, it will probably be ok. I use it for movies, and of course streaming. In that regard, I've been very pleased.

digital audio output is defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is only about playing music CD via optical digital audio output. The optical digital audio output does not send the pre-emphasis flag that is on some music CDs. I spent a long time to figure out where the problem was, and finally found that my Samsung BD-H6500 had problem in its digital audio output. In the same set up, the (coaxial) digital audio output of Sony DVP-SR510H sends the pre-emphasis flag properly, and thus the music is played with correct tonal balance. I do not know whether my Samsung had manufacturing defect, or whether Samsung ignored music CD features (Red Book CD standard) from the design stage. Another strange thing with Samsung BD-H6500 is that after a little bit of time, I cannot change the track with numeric keys. Sony DVP-SR510H did not have that problem, and was not embarrassing to use for people who used to use a dedicated CD player.

Amazing Blu Ray Player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We previously had a 3D LG blu ray player and upgraded to this one when we purchased the Curved 4K TV and the picture is stunning! you can really tell the Blu Ray player itself has 4K upscaling capabilities!

Other than that everything is awesome! Oh..remote is cheap as ****lookin (especially back light) and feeling. Still a 5 star cuz we use tv remote for blueray

Great Upgrade

It is great to be able to use all of the Apps as designed and able to watch some of my Blu-Ray movies that I haven't been able to watch on the old system. This is a great, inexpensive update to my total entertainment system.

Great Purchase

I am a big fan of anything Samsung and this BlueRay DVD player works so well with my older DVD's as well as my BlueRay movies.I am very happy with this purchase. I will be buying a 2nd one to go with my other Samsung Smart HDTV TV.
