Old Blu Ray player was not playing the newer DVDs. The Samsung plays the old and new DVDs perfectly. The new remote controller works with volume and input changes on our LG TV. This is my first purchase of aSamsung product and I am very happy.

Bought the DVD player when I purchased my new tv because it was on sale for Christmas. Have other Samsung products which we are really pleased with so did not thing twice about buying a Samsung player. Player works well and are pleased with it.

The br player does a good job as a basic blue ray player. Not able to test the 4K upscaling since I don't have a 4K TV yet. The added apps are great and work well. They were easy to set up, but the interface is sometimes a bit awkward. You can arrange the "My Apps" so that the apps you use most often appear on the home screen, but it does not appear that you are able to arrange the recommended apps in the same fashion. This is a minor annoyance. I found the wi-fi reception to be a bit too weak to reliably stream full HD video from VUDU, but I am able to do so with the player hard wired into a wireless access point with no real problems. Overall a good deal for the money.

After upgrading our TV to 55", 4K, UHD, getting a Blu-ray player was a high priority. I reviewed several and this one offered the most features for the best price. We are very happy with it.

Responds quickly to remote commands. Slim and sleek design. Remote has commands for Samsung TVs, so you don't have to switch between two remotes.

Read a few reviews from some who claimed to have problems setting this up. I had none and it was a breeze. Much faster than my old Blu Ray and Samsung customer service is second to none.

Our first BluRay player, hooked up to a Samsung 4K Ultra TV works very well. The unit has a very small footprint and looks very sleek and stylish.

This was purchased for our new 3D 4K TV. We wanted something that would be a great pairing. It is. The method for getting 3D is not intuitive, which is why it's 4 stars instead of 5.

This Blu-ray player was easy to set up and the picture quality is fantastic paired with our 4k TV.

Easy to connect to Internet and hook up to TV. This blue ray player also has great picture quality but you need the appropriate television.

Finally replaced an old non-blue ray player. Loading of the blue-ray is fairly fast. My only real complaint is the menu which defaults to the smart content instead of the DVD (As its main function is to play DVD's). Minor annoyance though.

The sound is perfect, the picture as clear as you can get when playing any kind of movies, perfect with my 3d tv. It up converts movies.

What a great buy for a top brand BD-3-D player. I shopped other stores and none could come close to Best Buy's price. A standard Blu-ray player elsewhere was more than the Samsung 3-D upscaling Blu-ray unit I purchased at Best Buy.

It works for exactly what I wanted it to do. I was unable to play DVDs on my PS3 anymore, so instead of buying a new Gaming device for hundreds I think this was the perfect choice.

This DVD player does it all from apps to playing your movie and the best part that I like is that it mirrors your phone ....really like it if your looking for its worth the money

This blue Ray has yet to be used even though I possess all the Avengers on Blue Ray I have yet to use the darn thing. It melds aesthetically well with my television and stand. It is black and sleek in appearance which is awesome.

Bought this for my new Vizio 55" 4K Smart TV. Turns out that it was a good decision. I'm impressed. Follow easy on screen directions.

Our old bluray player was outdated so my amazon prime was not included in it and the netflix menu was old style. With this new bluray everything is there and great. Love it.

Now that we are able to watch Netflix we really like the DVD player. We bought one only to see that the Netflix app would not work. We exchanged it for another one which had the same issue. The only app broken was Netflix. After 2 days and over an hour on the phone the issue was corrected.
