Well worth the money

The best Blu-ray player I have ever owned

I bought it because I finally learned that my Xbox One was giving me fake Dolby Atmos. This player resolved that issue. Watching "Gravity" and "Mad Max Fury Road" on this player is just a beautiful experience. The smart features are pleasant as well. I highly recommend.

So I can not give a honest opinion on the 6500, but I'm sure it's great, being its a Samsung

Good for now

4k upscale is not needed.

So I went with the Samsung 5900 which was $30 less and a smaller unit. I bet this unit works fine but the 5900 is a better fit for me.
