Great microwave

I like not having the handle in the front to open since the last one I had I kept having the issue of the handle getting stuck and breaking. Love this microwave so far!!

Samsung Microwave is a winner!

BestBuy was EXCELLENT in scheduling the delivery of a replacement and even offered me a few bucks for the brain damage. This is a replacement for the 10-year-old Samsung microwave we had and really liked. Ten years is pretty good IMHO for a microwave lifespan.

WILL NEVER ORDER THROUGH BEST BUY AGAIN!!!!!!

I can't even rate the microwave because it was returned due to unprofessional installers. So, it started when I ordered the microwave. I went to the store to make sure I ordered the microwave my wife and I wanted. We also wanted to make sure we got the right services because we wanted it installed and have a range hood that has to be replaced. After the order was placed we were told it would be delivered and installed a few days later. The day before the install I received multiple messages stating that my delivery and install had been pushed back a day due to inventory issues (I can understand that) but, my account on Best Buy didn't not reflect the changed date so I had to call several customer representatives who could not figure out which date was correct for the delivery and install. After several hours, that was all resolved and our day came for the install. We were last on the list for the day and when the installers showed up one of the first things they the lead installer said was he was tired and this had already been a long day. When he came into the kitchen and saw the range hood he said we can't install the microwave cause you don't have a power outlet for the microwave. I stated that I did have a dedicated power outlet in the cabinet above just for the microwave. The installer then looked at me and said well if remove the range you may have open wires in the back and that would be dangerous so we can't do that. Then one of the other installers chimed in and said no, wait a minute and had me turn the power off for the breaker leading to the range. He then took apart the outlet and said that the hood was tied into the outlet. The first installer looked at me and said this is what we can do.......You cancel the install portion of your order, which meant I would get my install fee back, and you give us $150.00 cash and we will install the microwave for you. I looked at them and said "No". If they didn't do it correctly and the house burnt down it would have looked like I canceled the install services and installed it myself with there being no record of them ever installing it. At that point I was beyond frustrated. They then said well if you don't want to pay then there is nothing they can do for me. They then asked if they wanted me to leave the microwave. I stated no, I want to cancel the whole order. They then made a call telling the Best Buy rep that I had a hood range and that I needed an electrician to come out so they were returning the microwave. The representative called me back to confirm and, because there were 3 installers standing in my kitchen and I didn't want to escalate the situation, I agreed. One of the installers then put the outlet back together but left the hot wire to the range loose in the outlet box. As soon as they left out I immediately tried calling Best Buy, where I ordered the microwave from. Best Buy now has it where they won't answer the phones at the store so all calls get redirected to a call center. I explained the situation to a customer associate who tried to down play the whole incident. She then asked if I wanted her to contact the same team and have them reschedule for the install. I stated "no". I did not want the same team coming back after they tried to strong arm me into paying them cash for an install and to top it off they left an open hot wire in my outlet that could have caused a fire. At that point I didn't even like the fact that they had our address on file. After getting nowhere with the representative I drove to Best Buy to speak to a manager. When I got there I spoke to one of the managers on duty who took my story and said he was going to send it to his higher ups and other managers to escalate the situation. To this day I have not heard back from anyone. I had to call customer service back from Friday through the following Wednesday to get them to finally cancel my order (even though the order was suppose to have been canceled the day I refused to pay the installers cash) and then finally state that they would refund all my cost. Yet, I still had to resolve my open hot wire myself. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I now went directly to Samsung and ordered through them and am hoping our install goes smoother.
