I installed it myself, and installation was relatively easy. Instructions for changing the fan configuration from top vent to front bent were easy to follow. The microwave looks somewhat futuristic with the hidden handle and buttons incorporated into the face. We've had guests comment on it. It does still show some fingerprints, even though it's supposed to be fingerprint resistant. It works as anticipated, with the exception of the soften butter feature. That seems to melt the butter rather than soften it, sometimes to the point of exploding it.

We’re slowly upgrading cheap appliances in our home. Of course during COVID our cheap Frigidaire quit working. So we decided to upgrade to this unit. We went from a 1.7 to this a 2.1 and only lost a half an inch in height. That’s a win in itself to me. So far it heats faster than our old microwave and is easy to clean. So far I like the appearance and the features like softening butter which actually works surprisingly well. Short of a convection microwave combo we’re happy with it.

I just got done installing the microwave yesterday. I used it a couple of times and so far it works like its supposed to. There are tons of features on the microwave which I still have to explore (I upgraded from a 20+ year old GE unit). The vent fan is crazy powerful compared to my old 300cfm one. The build of the microwave appears to be sturdy, though long term durability is yet to be seen, especially given the fact that some newer appliances have worse durability that some of the old ones. Oh, and beware: if you're upgrading from a smaller microwave, the door is pretty big and opens wide. You might or might not like this, but I personally don't mind. The only issue I feel is worth addressing is the installation. The microwave is heavier than the one I replaced and still only has two top screws for support. I feel like Samsung should have put at least three screws on the top for additional support. The installation manual doesn't appear to be model-specific and shows that a microwave can potentially have three top screws. I just hope the entire thing doesn't fall one day. I'll update the review if issues arise. (PS: I'm a very picky person and I feel like I should get what I paid for, so I hate breakdowns or minor issues)

I bought this to replace a preexisting over-range microwave. This one is a good cosmetic match to my wife's Samsung range. It's easy to use and works well. The installation was a minor challenge. It didn't take too much time, but working with the paper templates was frustrating. The paper is flimsy and easily torn. Samsung should have made them from a heavier grade paper. I tore the back wall template trying to tape it to the wall. The underside of the cabinet has a 1/2" gap to the 'floor' panel. Attaching the template underneath was a PITA! The template should have been designed to fit inside the cabinet. The other part, is that I didn't realize that I'd need a spacer to fill the gap beneath the cabinet. The screw began to bend the top surface of the microwave before I realized what was happening. So my complaints are all regarding installation: - lousy grade paper templates are too hard to use - overly simplistic instructions don't address any unusual surfaces - attachment points at the top attach to the surface - not a rigid structural member.

I got this to match my fridge and stove and I have to say this particular piece is my favorite. It looks great, does a great job of heating and is fairly quiet. The controls are easy, it feels well built, closing the door feels solid and it’s also very easy to clean. If I had to find a negative, I would say the light under the oven isn’t as bright as I would like but that’s just not picking.

This model was not stocked at my local store, so it had to be shipped in. Everything was great with Best Buy. Only took a few days for the unit to be shipped to my local store and I picked it up without any issues. Store personnel were great. We've only had the unit installed for a couple of days, and so far so good. We are satisfied with the unit and it's functions. My issue is the Samsung engineers' lack of understanding. This is an under cabinet microwave, which by implication means it is mounted under a cabinet. Or so I thought. On page 13 of the installation instructions which covers installing a charcoal filter for the recirculating air vent, there are screws that need to be removed and then replaced. Below is the section for installing the charcoal filter: B2. INSTALLING THE CHARCOAL FILTER 1. Remove the screws on the top of the grill using a #1 Phillips screwdriver. 2. Open the door. 3. Remove the grill. • Push the grill left, and then pull the grill straight off. 4. Install the charocal filter. When properly installed, the wire mesh of the filter should be visible from the front. 5. Reinstall the grille and the screws. 6. Close the door. Here's the problem. That procedure is performed before the unit is installed under the cabinet and the screws are located about 2.5 inches from the front of the microwave. After the unit is installed, the screws are no longer accessible. This means for a normal routine maintenance procedure, the bolts holding the microwave to the cabinet have to loosened enough to be able to tilt the unit far enough to expose the screws allowing the grill removal and the charcoal filter cleaning or replacement. What were they thinking?

Love this microwave! It does everything that it promises and more!! I would have to say that the smudging is a bit annoying because the buttons are at the bottom. It is very noticeable even with the slightest of stains. But overall, the installation was easy. I love how easy it is to remove the filter when that is needed.

I love my microwave. The dimensions were exact. Easy to install. The timing cooks everything exact. The design is beautiful. I have received a lot of compliments on it. One con is the touch buttons. You have to push a bit firm to enter keys. Only reason I dont give it a five.

This is a very good product, looks good and performs well. It was a replacement and the old lower bracket also fit this product. The use of the included template made it easy to drill the new top holes for support bolts in the cabinet above. So it was a easy installation.

This microwave is so sleek in design and the amount of features it has is beyond amazing. It even has a cook feature which I think is great. I also love that it has a reheat button, which is probably my favorite. I love the black interior and it looks so much better than the traditional white. Finger prints is a headache, but not a deal breaker.

Looks nice with our other Samsung appliances. Was easy to install. Have not had any problems. Has nice features for cooking and heating. Bought this new Samsung microwave because our last Samsung microwave died within 5 years. Hoping this one will last longer.

Great product really easy to use! a lot of space! A lot of options when using!

After 16yrs. of white Kenmore appliances, we decided to try something quite a bit different. Hence the black stainless steel Samsung Microwave. The sleek no handle door was something that really caught our eyes. I still find myself at times grasping in the area where our old micro handle used to be, when I am not paying attention. It is taking a little time to get used to it, but not a problem at all. The other nice feature, is the touch pad is located on the exterior of the door it self, instead of off to the side. This little change in keypad placement is neat, because it allows for one seamless door face, adding to the very clean and uncluttered look. One of the nicest features we have noticed about this microwave, is how quiet it is while in use. We will see if that remains the case over time, but for now, it really is noticeably quieter than our old unit. Very impressed with it so far and really liking the new black stainless steel look.

Big and spacious, looks good and it’s simple to use.

Previous Samsung microwave died and got this sleek modern hidden handle unit. Since the old one was a Samsung, the mounting bracket could be reused so self installation was a snap. Easy to clean and the new features are great. Highly recommended.

This is an awesome microwave. Silent and efficient. Door not loud, stylishly beautiful
