    4 cancelled deliveries and over one month and stil

    I bought this item in May and the delivery and installation has been cancelled 4 times. I have moved my vacation schedule and work schedule around each installation days. I still do not have my microwave even though I have had several calls ensuring me that the microwave would be delivered and installed. If there were an option for zero stars I would give the zero stars to Best Buy. This has been extremely frustrating.

    I just got and they installed for me with in a week the fan inside come bad, I called for repair they come and found out the fan is bad

The internal cooling fan, which helps keep the electronics cool, and the convection fan, which is visible at the back of the oven and circulates heated air for more thorough cooking. The convection fan turns on and off at regular intervals and has a quiet, low humming noise.

    More expensive than Lowe’s. Adied charges

    compared to Lowe’s : more expensive, charges for delivery (free at Lowe’s), installation (more than Lowe’s), charges for removing old one(free at Lowe’s), more expensive warranty ( if not used 1/3 Of price returned to customer)

    Run away, dibilitating design flaw

    Samsung Support has a 42 page thread concerning reoccurring issue with this model even after multiple costly repairs. Happens with this model and several other Samsung Microwaves. 7 will be input by itself followed by press start or ok. Other customers saying the vent turns on by itself and some say the microwave starts cooking by itself. Samsung will send repair but many stating it occurs even after multiple repairs. Complete fire hazard and Samsung has bandaids, no definite solution.

    The sleek front comes at a cost with membrane failure. Some keys don't work, some work but with a different function, some work on their own.

    Don’t believe in gift cards you probably won’t get

    I purchased this item because it was a $100 gift card get gift back if purchased I never got my gift card. I should take this back because of it I’m sure it’s a fine microwave but I’m just upset with Best Buy and how they handled all situation. They give me the runaround between my local Best Buy and online.

    Samsung microwave

    After a month it completely stop heating items and kept turning on and off by itself .could not Take it back to best buy called Samsung first appt rescheduled said they have to wait for parts . Finally came yesterday the Samsung care tech stated that it seems like some parts were interchanged from this unit the magneto had to be replaced .he said bestbuy had something to do with it . So blame each other .

    Have had problems since we got it.

    We installed this microwave in May. We have had several problems. When we use sensor cooking we get errors and most recently I turned the vent on and it wouldn't shut off. Geek squad told us to unplug it to reset it with the errors. It continues to have errors sometimes. I unplugged it when the vent wouldn't turn off. We plugged it in and the fan was still on. It was unplugged for over and hour before it turned off. We bought the protection plan but Geek squad has been useless in helping usb fix it. Would never buy a Samsung microwave again.

    Malfunctions

    After about a year the microwave would just stop working. Out of the blue it just started freezing up. I would have to open and close it a few times just to get it to run. Then, it would just go out and I would have to unplug it and plug it back in.

    Unit had 5E error problems

    The unit we got had a sensor error (SE or is it 5E?) and Samsung replaced the door and then same thing happened about a month after right on Thanksgiving Day!

    DO NOT BUY - permanent error after 13 months

    DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!! When we purchased these appliances the installer said that the Samsung microwave is the most commonly returned item that he installs. I didn’t think we would have that problem ourselves. However, after 13 months are microwave is no longer working. It seems to have a fatal electronic error and of course it’s one month following the one-year warranty.

    Too many issues for a high end microwave

    The clock does not keep time. Geek squad was out 3 times with 2 different replacement boards and ended up with more issues after the repairs as not the popcorn gets burned when on the popcorn setting. Also the door swings close but the unit is level. If this microwave was a entry level then no big deal but this being a upper end unit results in the 1*

    DEFECTIVE Product - Should be recalled

    The microwave will input 7 on its own and wait for a response. This can happen several times a day. We have been waiting for over a month for a repair. This is a known defect, just search 'samsung microwave 7 seconds'. We now unplug this unit when not in use. A real pain. Very disappointed in Samsung. Too bad a new microwave is destined for the garbage.
