Failed to cool after a year and a half. They said it wasn't underwarranty but there was and addendum they over looked. After a month, two seperate tickets and 8 repair visits they authorized an exchange. New unit said it was at temp but my thermometer showed it rarely got below 40 degrees. returned for a whirlpool, installed today already at 34 degrees. Shame because I loved the the unit it self, 2 stars for seperate door/ snack area, water pitcher, and dual ice.

Too Many Issues for a Brand New Appliance

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good Points: attractive design; layout of space within the refrigerator is very efficient; feels larger than our last fridge even though it is the same volume Bad Points: after 3 months of use the ice maker has stopped making the small sized ice cubes. We're now trying to diagnose this and thus far don't have a fix. Not what you want to deal 3 months after a big purchase like this. Another design issue is a flap between the two side-by-side refrigerator doors. It needs to pivot shut in order to create a good air seal and keep the cold air within the fridge. This doesn't always happen depending on how the doors are closed, so it's an added usage issue that we need to watch for. We've also had several instances of lots of frosting forming in the lower freezer drawer, which might be related to this issue. Overall - not the easy and reliable operation we were hoping for.

known Defect Samsung Beverage center

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There is a l own issue with this model. the couplings leak refrigerant - after 12-16 months the freezer stops producing ice and then the the unit stops cooling. unless you buy $$$ the extended warranty (on a brand new $2800 product) Samsung will charge you a non refundable fee to fix it. what a scam!! forced to buy an extended warranty because a high cost product doesn't last much over a year! shame on Best Buy and Samsung

2 years and it stopped working

Also, a piece didn't work when received. I purchased the protection plan for 3 years and they cancelled my policy when they delivered a new fridge without my knowledge and now 2 year later...no fridge...no policy I will not purchase. from best buy again. I do not recommend them or their unethical practices.
