Poor Communication

Great fridge with some design issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The family hub screen is huge and pairing it with Alexa so it can play music in the kitchen is great. The beverage center idea is great but it really only works for small cans and short bottles. There is not enough vertical space for a regular jug of milk without removing one of the door panels. The biggest issue I have is that the vertical spacing of the main panels is not tall enough to fit a typical 1 liter soda plastic bottle. It ALMOST fits but not quite; if there were maybe half a centimeter more clearance, then it would fit. Yes, one of the panels slides in for more vertical space, but that takes away usable area. You would think that Samsung designers would have thought to accomodate the typical 1L bottle that takes up whole aisles in every supermarket in the US. It’s a big miss in an otherwise great refrigerator.

Great design, poor quality and terrible support

It took nearly a month, and two authorized service providers, to get it fixed. Fortunately only the freezer section was affected and we have a separate freezer, But for such an expensive refrigerator this was totally unacceptable. Samsung, do better.

DO NOT BUY! Samsung refrigerators are TRASH

Best Buy sales person lied to me about the quality of Samsung knowing the history of issues with their refrigerators. Please research Samsung refrigerator ice maker before throwing your money away. Every month I have to take everything out of my refrigerator, turn off the power to my refrigerator, allow the ice build up around the ice maker to completely melt which takes HOURS. This process takes time, money is wasted food, frustration. Don't bother asking Samsung customer support for help. You will be exhausted with being transferred 5-7 times each call, told to jump thru hoops, forced to call back multiple times, customer support will drag you thru the mud for months until the refrigerator is no longer under warranty at which time they tell you "there's nothing we can do, you're out of warranty" DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Do NOT buy Samsung refrigerators!

We loved the hub and all the features but the ice maker is extremely small and has broken 3 times in the 3+ years we have owned the unit. One replaced under warranty, one we paid for and now at 14 months and out of warranty it is broken again. Samsung will not stand behind the unit. Google the refrigerator there are numerous people who have the same issue and many other issues. You think for the money they charge they would stand behind the unit.

Overpriced! Poor quality!

It actually stopped working for few months now. We paid 3k for this fridge and it couldn't even give 5 good years. $3000.00 appliance should not crap out in 5 years. And not to mention the icemaker keeps freezing up. That actually started happening a year after we got the fridge. I would not recommend this or any other Samsung fridge.

Piece of crap

I haven't had this for 2 years, and I've called the technician about 5 times already. I bought cheaper appliances previously and had no issues with them. Please do not waste your hard-earned money like I did. I wish someone warned me about this before i purchased it.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG Appliances!

Ours completely broke after only 6 years and the repair would have cost over $1000. The Samsung customer service was the worst I have experienced and they are partnered with scammers (repair services sending unknown links to send money before coming out). BEWARE!!!

Icemaker didn’t work - bought 3 times

Replacement was sent and came broken with auto door opener motor broken. Doors wede misaligned. Geek squad could not fix and recommended to send it back. So we await refrigerator number 3 which won’t be here until July 31st. Folks at store have been veey nice and helpful. It has been very stressful and my food went bad.

They do not back their products, I purchased a fridge and it broke two years in, they fixed it then and now it is broken for the same thing 3 years later. They will do nothing to help us. So if you don't want 1000.00 of Food waisted I suggest buying a different product.
