The first problem occurred in June last year when the water dispenser malfunctioned, which was resolved through a phone call. The second issue arose on July 17, 2024, when the freezer stopped cooling or functioning properly. Despite contacting tech support, they informed me over the phone that the product is no longer covered by the factory warranty. The product is just over a year old, and they requested payment for repairs. I'm puzzled why manufacturers produce products that don't last five to ten years before needing repairs.

Keep in mind when ordering it that the panels for the doors are sold separately. 2 1/2 months later I finally have all the panels for my new refrigerator. Now as far as the refrigerator doors they can easily be left open and not shut all the way. Which an Allen will sound. The ice maker works as it should. The water pitcher on the door works great. So far no problems with the operating aspect of the refrigerator…

Refrigerators are designed to tilt back slightly, which helps the doors to close by themselves and helps with draining. Adjust the front a little higher than the rear. By tilting the fridge back in small increments on the right and left sides, the doors should automatically close when the doors/drawers are open halfway. Once achieved, make sure the fridge is level. This will help close the door automatically and prevent the other door from opening.

Horrible Accountability and Customer Service

Then Best Buy over week to set up another delivery. The one that was being delivered was also defective. At this time we are awaiting the replacement.

Good basic fridge with no frills

Samsung had a bad rap for ice makers, but this one has been fine for 3 months. The only design complaint I would have is that you have to sort of manually scoot ice forward since it dumps in the back and piles up or stops making. The auto fill pitcher is great, hope it works for many years and doesn’t crap out. Really this is a basic fridge so not much to complain about. But better than our last Samsung!
