I contacted Best Buy and they told me the Geek Squard will visit me 9 days later to check my refrigerator. The ice maker makes a very small amount of ice and the tablet won't go in sleep mode. The refrigerator is stuck in retail mode. When the Geek Squard arrived they referred me to Samsung who told me that I have to pay $1500 more to have the refrigerator replace because they're unable to fix it.

Bespoke 29 cu ft Family Hub

The problem i have is with the quality. Im going on my 5th delivery from bestbuy with their 3rd party vendors. Grant you not all the blame lays with them either. The 1st fridge was mishandled and dropped and the broke the glass and damaged the doors. The 2nd fridge they brought the doors on front were uneven amd warpped. The 3rd fridge they brought had forklift damage to the side of the fridge. The 4thd fridge they brought the doors were uneven and the door with the water picture is warped. I am now waiting for a 5th fridge to be delivered. Very upset through the entire process.

Great but ….

The ice maker is not so great. The water pitcher function is really finicky. It won’t fill unless I press the button a few times, which I shouldn’t have to do. It has only been a year. I would rate it 5 stars if we didn’t have these issues. It was pricey so I would not recommend unless you get the extended warranty which imo you shouldn’t have to do.

Ignore the AI Vision hype, it is broken technology
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the refrigerator itself is fine, I confess to being a little irked that I was sucked in by the AI Vision feature. Theoretically, the fridge can keep an inventory of its contents, suggest recipes, alert you to expiring products, etc. In reality, this feature does not work at all. It cannot even accurately identify a gallon of milk, labeling it as anything from 'wasabi' to 'baby food'. A tub of yogurt is 'spinach', a bottle of water is 'salsa', and a pack of mushrooms in clear plastic wrap is undentifiable. Ultimately, it's still a functioning refrigerator. But, I'm still annoyed that I was persuaded to buy it because of this cool technology that does not actually exist.

Beautiful, but wouldn’t buy again.

But that’s about where it ends for me. We bought this to replace our old unit after the ice maker broke, again. We have a household of 5 people. The ice maker: it is sloooow to make ice. It cannot keep up with what I consider minimal use. I’m not even back to my regular workout routine yet. Every night both ice trays are left empty. We have to make ice in silicone trays on the side to keep up. Scooping ice out, moving what little ice is in the back to the front and trying to fiddle with the tray to put the scooper back gets old real fast too. In our house we’ll never get enough to fill a small cooler for drinks for an outing with this fridge like our old one(s). Water dispenser/ beverage center: it looks pretty. The water pitcher is awesome. The regular water dispenser is also very slow compared to other units. It takes what feels like twice the time to fill a water bottle compared to our old unit. While waiting to fill a bottle or large cup, you’re letting a bunch of cold air out. The beverage center, it needs to be either a tad deeper or shallower. It doesn’t hold/stack regular 12oz drinks in a nice order. It should also be a tad shorter, as trying to lift a drink out can be awkward. Shelves: because of the adjustable temp middle section, the shelves in the fridge are short. There is a section in the front that lifts up to for taller items, but that kills the space behind it and it’s not very big. I think it should’ve been a whole depth shelf that can be lifted/removed if wanted. It’s just not good usable space with little to no adjustment available. Freezer: small shelf on top works good (except for the ice scooper tray thing). The rest of the freezer should of had adjustable dividers. It just turned into a big unorganized pit of stuff. Want something on the bottom? Good luck! Infotainment screen: it’s cool, it’s pretty. It’s also slow and laggy. You can’t add any external apps (YouTube, which I could use in the kitchen). I haven’t dug into it too much more, but haven’t found a way to add our own recipes. Pandora is cool, but it’s way more moves to get to your own stations then it should be. For some reason Amazon music won’t work properly. Over all we get much less use out of it then we expected. Also read the instructions! With a glass infotainment center in a kitchen, they say to only use a dry rag to clean it or you risk damaging the electronics. I’ll leave your imagination up to that one. Best Buy/delivery: Delivery team was awesome. But make sure it will fit with the doors on. For some reason they said I would loose my Best Buy warranty if the doors were removed because of the screen and electronics. I had to remove my pantry door, they removed the freezer doors, opened the regular doors and worked some magic with the dolly and we were able to squeeze it in to my kitchen. Overall I regret this purchase and would of picked a different unit for my household. If you have a smaller household maybe it would work better for you then me.

Poor Best Buy Service

Only issue I had here was that I ordered the fridge to be installed and delivered to my house. Best Buy was supposed to come last week and canceled within an hour time of scheduled delivery. We spent new years without any food in our fridge. They ended up rescheduling the delivery and install the following week. The day of install they deliver the refrigerator as planned, although the installers had no respect and just overall rude to my mother. They refused to install the refrigerator as I paid extra for it to be installed and when it came time they said that the main water needed to be shut off. I tried explaining to the installers that the main water line was off and they wouldn’t have had an issue. They still refused to install the water line to the refrigerator. Now I have the new refrigerator where I can’t even use the water filtration system nor can I use the ice dispenser. Overall I’m in love with the product, but the service Best Buy provided was poor and uncommunicative.

Fridge is nice. Family Hub is pretty useless

The ice-maker and water pitcher are really nice. Good size so I have plenty of space. Love the Easy access door. Love the flex drawer. I wish I hadn't gone the extra for the Family Hub because that really is blah. It has a few pre-installed apps and that's it. You can't download more apps. The installed apps aren't useful to me AT ALL so really the only thing I use on it is the clock. It doesn't work with Amazon Prime Video which really is the main reason I wanted it. I would have returned the fridge for one without the family hub, but Best Buy is out of stock on all the other fridges I like.. and I don't hate the fridge... just wish I hadn't gone the extra for the family hub.

WONDERFUL IDEA WITH BAD EXECUTION

Finally I got and now.... Hmmm is how I feel. I cant get the colors for it that i want because alot of colors are on backorder but the color i really want is just listed as "Not Available" Then comes the fridge... the pitcher in the beverage center, the lid falls off when pouring it all the time and then there is the Freezer.... The door constantly wants to close, you put about 3 items in it and it starts playing the shut the door music which gets annoying when you are trying to put all your groceries in it. Then the size/setup sucks and does not hold much and its hard to find food you know you put in it. All around i dont think i would recommend it, I got it because I wanted the color combo that is not available which sucks, it constantly has to be reconnected to my wifi and the camera sucks honestly it does not see a majority of the items you have in the fridge and it does not recognize what almost any/everything thats in the frige. It thinks butter is bread, it thinks pasta sauce jar is mayo, and peanut butter is mustard for examples. Overall FAIL to be honest.

Nice but violates privacy

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The fridge is very good after returning many for coming damage they finally gave a good fridge that the parts isn’t discontinued with that said this fridge accommodates all and keeps all your produce and item fresh, the fridge is very big and can fit all your needs .The ONLY part I do not like is the Samsung privacy trespass you link all your devices and info they literally tell you that what ever is linked to the Samsung product is made public and not private for Samsung and they will share, and collect everything (to much to list) so that’s why I hav two warn everyone now this is why I gave it a 3 star it seems like you can’t enjoy something without a big pharma, government and/or Corporation violating your privacy

Good product but poor supply chain

But getting the panels was a nightmare.

Cheap parts
