We love the fridge but didn’t love the price tag of new so we took advantage of their “open box” inventory. DEFINITELY would NOT recommend shopping open box items. There were multiple units of this model that were open box price but we picked the one we purchased because it had no cosmetic flaws. It did however have signs of use on the inside (plastic and styrofoam protection was gone) The one we purchased was priced at their Satisfactory open box price which listed on their website indicates dents and scratches are not included at satisfactory price. The day that it was delivered it arrived with a dent on the front bottom drawer. On top of the dent when I opened it up to clean it as I took out the shelves and drawers I found a large amount of food crumbs and some sort of liquid that spilt under one of the drawers in the refrigerator portion. I guess my fault for not taking the entire inside out before buying it but what the worst was when I went to open the freezer and took those drawers out to clean them and discovered MOLD! Pictures posted below. I’m sorry but $1500 is not a small amount of money and if items are returned that Best Buy plans on reselling they should give them a good cleaning especially refrigerators that have spilt food. They should honestly be embarrassed. I called corporate immediately after finding the dent and crumbs in the fridge and their response was “I honestly don’t recommend purchasing anything open box that is listed less than excellent condition” So even their employees don’t think you should shop those items. They did offer to come pick up the fridge if I want to return it but I lose my delivery fee or they will bring me a new fridge to exchange I would just have to pay the price difference. Both of those scenarios leave me wasting a day waiting for the delivery and the hassle of trying to make room and move all our food to the garage freezer and coolers again.

We bought this fridge on September 2024. As of October 2025, we changed the filter, with a Samsung name brand filter, the one for the model, to have no water coming through the water pitcher or ice maker. We called Samsung and they stated it is out of warranty and they had to replace the entire filter unit with a $500(!!!) charge for it to be replaced. Unbelievably bad design that somehow changing a filter (which I have done numerous times before on our previous Samsung fridge) to break only the second time of use. Absolutely awful design, and I will be contacting Samsung about this. I cannot believe how unbelievably shoddy this is. I’ve even added the photo of the repair guy here FIXING THIS TERRIBLE FRIDGE. Excellent refrigerator, it’s big and spacious and has everything you need. The included water pitcher is great!

Died after 1 year and 9 months. Freezer temp is at 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not buy this product as it just will just die on you and it only has a one year warranty. I bought this because Samsung was known for quality. They want to send out a tech to diagnose it and then charge me for parts and repairs. Will just take it to the dump where it belongs and buy a fridgidare which focuses on being a fridge, not some smart crap. I can see why it was on sale. If you buy get the extended warranty. Buyer beware.

Has been a great relief to organize and find things easily. Everything you could want and still a clean space-no water on the floors, clean exterior and fresh water all the time. Great investment.

This is a very nice refrigerator. It has lots of space. I have 5 kids. So I need room for food. I love that is makes 2 different size ice cubes.

Please...don't buy Samsung fridges. You will have headaches, from the manufacturing support when you need to get it fixed in two months after you buy. Then the store you buy it from doesn't want to take it either because it's out of return date. So your left with a big paperweight your paying money on and not able to use. Mine stopped cooling, guy came and replaced said give it a couple hours. After two days no error code just high temperatures 76 in fridge 78 in freezer. Recommendation buy from manufacturer who has invested 50 plus years in that industry.

the door keeps breaking the tab at the bottom :-( this is the first time that I have had a bad experience with Samsung. I have called them and pending repair or replacement. This small clip is what holds the door on they need a better and longer screw.

Refrigerator Broke within 3 months of purchase. Called Best buy, they directed me to Samsung, Called Samsung they directed me to a third party service repair shop. Its been over a week and they keep bouncing me around. And all this after I bought the 2 year protection plan

This is a beautiful refrigerator. It has lots of usable space. It replaced a 28 cu.ft. one but seems to hold lots more. The digital controls for temperature are super handy. It could be controlled by an app on your phone but I have not done that. Its operation is basically silent. Except for the ice bin. Getting ice out of an ice bin make the most noise of anything known to man, woman or cat. The only shortfall is the ice maker. The dual ice is nice but there is not much of it. If I did not have a separate ice machine it would be a problem. The water pitcher in the door full of cold, filtered water makes up for the lack of ice storage volume. That water is at a nice 36 degrees. When put in an insulated tumbler with the big ice cubes will stay cold, with ice, after 3 refills of water. It is a great fridge.

We've had this fridge for just over a year now and it's been every bit of what we were expecting. It comes with the dual ice machine which is green to switch it up from time to time. Some cons to be aware of is sometimes when you push one of the doors shut it will pop back open slightly and after 30 seconds or so start beeping alerting you that the door is still partially open. Another slight con is the sound. Compared to our last fridge, this one is much more noisy but nothing to be too concerned about. All in all this fridge has worked great and the storage compartments and openness in the middle section highlight the benefits of this fridge.
