    Terrible fridge, AVOID AT ALL COST

    We bought this fridge on September 2024. As of October 2025, we changed the filter, with a Samsung name brand filter, the one for the model, to have no water coming through the water pitcher or ice maker. We called Samsung and they stated it is out of warranty and they had to replace the entire filter unit with a $500(!!!) charge for it to be replaced. Unbelievably bad design that somehow changing a filter (which I have done numerous times before on our previous Samsung fridge) to break only the second time of use. Absolutely awful design, and I will be contacting Samsung about this. I cannot believe how unbelievably shoddy this is. I’ve even added the photo of the repair guy here FIXING THIS TERRIBLE FRIDGE. I cannot

    Samsung Fridge dies after 1 year and 9 months of u

    Died after 1 year and 9 months. Freezer temp is at 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not buy this product as it just will just die on you and it only has a one year warranty. I bought this because Samsung was known for quality. They want to send out a tech to diagnose it and then charge me for parts and repairs. Will just take it to the dump where it belongs and buy a fridgidare which focuses on being a fridge, not some smart crap. I can see why it was on sale. If you buy get the extended warranty. Buyer beware.

    Not worth the hassle

    Please...don't buy Samsung fridges. You will have headaches, from the manufacturing support when you need to get it fixed in two months after you buy. Then the store you buy it from doesn't want to take it either because it's out of return date. So your left with a big paperweight your paying money on and not able to use. Mine stopped cooling, guy came and replaced said give it a couple hours. After two days no error code just high temperatures 76 in fridge 78 in freezer. Recommendation buy from manufacturer who has invested 50 plus years in that industry.

    Best buy and Samsung both pointing at each other

    Refrigerator Broke within 3 months of purchase. Called Best buy, they directed me to Samsung, Called Samsung they directed me to a third party service repair shop. Its been over a week and they keep bouncing me around. And all this after I bought the 2 year protection plan

    This fridge was amazing! We loved the auto fill pitcher, the spaciousness, and the ice bucket with it's two different ice cube sizes. However, it has stopped working after only 20 months of use! Do not buy this fridge if you want something that lasts! If you choose to purchase this product anyway, be aware that there are a limited number of techs available for warranty work and you may be out of a fridge for an undetermined period of time.

    My family initially loved this refrigerator. It boasted convenient features like an ice maker in the freezer and a water pitcher in the fridge. The fridge itself was impressively spacious, accommodating everything we needed to store. However, our initial satisfaction turned into frustration after just four months of use. We began noticing issues such as the freezer failing to keep ice cream adequately cold, and the ice in the freezer melting and refreezing. In response to these problems, we reached out to Samsung Support, hoping for a solution. After extensive troubleshooting with their technician and Samsung's customer support team, it was disheartening to learn that the refrigerator was deemed unserviceable under warranty.     First one we got failed in under a month and we lost hundreds in groceries. This was a large fridge and we just bought the house so we stocked up. I didnt expect a fridge I just almost spent $2k on to break. After pulling teeth back and forth best buy agreed to replace it. It has been just over a year and the 2nd one is now broken with the same issue as the first. Samsung is telling me sorry youre out of the first year warranty period. That will be another $130 just to have someone come diagnose it for you. Im waiting for that to happen and I will probably cry if Im given the run around as to why it doesnt fall under a certain parameter. I just want to be refunded and get something different. This has been one of the worst experiences. Stay away from Samsung appliances.

    After my refrigerator went out, I had to wait for the delivery a couple days. The Samsung failed to freeze, and the refrigerator started to warm. It lost its cooling temp. I had to get a replacement, new refrigerator and would not take another Samsung. Got an LG instead.

    Stay away from Samsung

    This refrigerator was wonderful prior to breaking but we had it for less than two years before the cooling system broke. When the technician came out to look at it the inside temp on the fridge was 52 degrees. I will give samsung props for the fact that it was covered under manufacturer warranty and therefore instead of fixing it they gave us a full refund BUT the refund process took so long and involved having a technician at the house and about 15 conversations with Samsung following up on what the next steps were and all the paperwork we had to send, etc. The fridge broke April 19th and we didn’t get the refund until June, and at least 3-4 of those weeks we didn’t know if we should buy another fridge because they also acted like just sending us a completely new fridge was an option instead of a refund. Ultimately happy with the fridge while it was working but after it broke I heard a ton of horror stories about Samsung refrigerators from friends and family. I would recommend going for a different brand all together.

    Worst fridge, will break within in a month

    The fridge broke with 20 days of receiving it, it completely stop cooling. Best Buy return policy for non-member is 15 days and they refuse to do anything about it. I had to work with samsung for over 2 months to get anything resolved. They could not find one company to service the fridge in my area and had to issue me a “full” refund and sent me back to Best Buy. PLEASE KNOW: Best Buy refund me what the current sale price of the fridge is and not what I paid at the time. At this point it had been 4 months since the purchase. They also only issue it as store credit even thought Samsung said they are writing a waiver for a full refund back to my original form of payment and even before pick up of the fridge, Best Buy guarantee refund back to original payment. Will never buy from Best Buy again, Also friends don’t let friends buy a Samsung product!

    I got played! Was sold a non working ope box deal

    I thought I got an amazing deal on an open box deal,.. got this refrigerator for $1k. They delivered it, and hauled away my old one for free bc of my membership. Problem started when I realize after 24 hours the freezer wasn’t getting much colder than the fridge at 35 degrees then 80degreees. Completely stopped working … spoiled all my food and left me with no refrigerator. Best Buy would NOT give me a new working fridge unless I paid an extra $1300 to force me into paying full retail. Now no fridge, 5 days to get it picked up then, wait 1-2 weeks for a $1k check then I can finally go shopping hoping to get something decent at $1k???? I got screwed. Would rather have my old fridge back and $1k in my pocket.

    Absolutely terrible unit that has know factory issues with coolant and seal leaks. We’ve had the fridge for 5 months and it will no longer cool or freeze. Dealing with Samsung and Best Buy customer service on this has been a nightmare. Going on 2+ weeks without having a fridge in our house and still looks like another 8-10 days for it to be fixed… maybe. If I could give a negative rating I would. Will never buy another Samsung product again based on this experience.

    Absolutely disappointed with Samsung's quality as the Refrigerator breaks down after 4 months of owning it. The cooling and freezer stopped working, and spoil all the food that was inside. I'm expected a better product by a Major company like Samsung. I have TV, and monitor that last much longer than this Fridge. A $1600 fridge that works less than 6 months is really disappointing. I had a LG fridge that still works for 10+ years. Even the Samsung technician that came to check said it was a major problem. Stay away from Samsung appliances.

    Look wise great, but not a product to be proud of as per my personnel experience. Got first freeze stopped cooling and ice making in 3-4 days. Then Best buy fulfilled their commitment by replacing malfunctioning freeze, but this time, it came with lose tray and the left door squeaks, every time you open and close, either it was a Demo product supplied on second time or Its Samsung Quality.

    Worst Fridge Ever

    I recently purchased this fridge 9 months ago. The freezer has stopped working, and the fridge only cools to about 42 degrees. DO NOT BUY THIS. Samsung Customer Service is the worst to deal with and no one has contacted me to fix it in a week. They keep telling me a technician will contact me in 24-48 hours. Its been well over that. If I could give this fridge 0 stars I would.

    Poor Reliability

    I've had this refrigerator for 9 months now and it has broken twice. Needed a large fridge for the family and thought this would be a good fit as I've had good experience with other Samsung products. Both times the unit has stopped cooling. This experience has been very disappointing so far. I cannot recommend Samsung refrigerators based off this experience.

    Great Fridge/Below Sub-standard Delivery

    The fridge is exactly what we wanted but the price to get it was painful. Not the $ price but the hassle of a delivery, with delivery people who can not understand English or directions. Also the truck driver made a rut down the side of my driveway that is going to take alot of time to fix. I had such an awful experience I am paying off the new credit card and will never shop here again. I even cancelled the matching microwave.

    3rd time in 10 months that it has stopped working.

    Unfortunately we have had nothing but problems with this unit. The first issue was 3 weeks after we got it so it was past the best buy return window and had to have it serviced by Samsung under the warranty. Took 10 days for them to fix it and we lost hundreds of dollars in food. Second problem was only with the freezer and that was over the summer. It was again repaired under warranty but again lost lots of food. It currently is not working again, they came to fix it and didn't have the correct parts. It has been nonfunctional for almost 2 weeks. They are coming back Tuesday to hopefully fix it. 3rd time i have lost hundreds of dollars in food and they won't do anything to compensate. Oh and they wont even consider a replacement until the repairs are complete! I am utterly disappointed in Samsung.
