After firing it up and looking at the picture, I wasn't very impressed. I returned it and got the LG 29" IPS monitor and it is awesome. The picture is very bright and gaming video is top-notch.

Thought it would be a great upgrade, but really liked the old unit better. The curved screen is not a big deal,, One nice surprise is that the sound does a decent job.. Look a bit more prior to buying. Love the Samsung TVs.

I do notice that my monitor displays black lines or clusters of black dots when I scroll up or down quickly. I am not sure if this is a characteristic for this device or a defect.

The price was right in the range I was shopping for. If you’re looking for 4K out put “this is not it” but is has a really good resolution in my opinion.

When the monitor is on, the power light is off. When it off, the power lite is on. Confusing. No DVI, just Analog of HDMI. Lose my surround sound with HDMI connection.

If you are looking at a screen all day long, I wouldn't recommend since the resolution is only 1080p. For everyday use at 27inches, I'd recommend at least 1440p. However, for occasional use, it is fine.
