Great Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I havent had this monitor long but so far I has been a blessing. I do a lot of Illustration and graphic design and animation have multiple programs open frequently. It is perfect to be able to have software open side by side, of stretch a timeline across the entire space without having a seam of multiple monitors. It is not the highest resolution of monitors but works well for what I need it for.

Bought for Productivity, but still "Game" Changing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was a bit concerned at first because this is a "gaming monitor" and although I am a gamer... this was 100% a purchase for work / productivity. The Pros: - This thing is massive. Way bigger "feeling" than my 2x24" monitors were besides being close in overall size. I went with 150% magnification and the text is a great size but I still have a ton of space for the normal open windows (Outlook and Teams for me). My eyes are good but this just eliminates any strain at all. - It was super easy to build and came with every type of wire option you may need. - It was basically plug-and-play. Just had to change my resolution in the display settings. The Cons: - My only real gripe is coming off a true 2-monitor setup I did a lot of minimizing and maximizing windows as I worked. Well this is "one monitor" so if you maximize your app- it takes over the whole screen (not half). Windows has a tool for it and there is a Samsung plugin you can download that "splits the screen" and it works fine once you know how to do it- but you can't use the max button any more. - If you use an on-top-of-monitor video camera for work meetings, it is way high up there so the camera kind of looks down on you. I will try to get some kind of stand for it and put it down below the monitor. Overall this thing is incredible though. 100% recommend.

Low Resolution for Size
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this monitor with the intent on using it for work during the day, and gaming at night. Overall, I believe this display is just ok for the price. Having a ultrawide display to work on and seamlessly either open 2 or 3 windows side by side, or streatch a window the full width (think wide spreadsheets) is very handy. If you can afford the bump up in price, I would recommend the Samsung monitor with 5120x1440 resolution support. Pros: Large display (sized of 2 27" monitors side by side) FreeSync Capable Adjustable Height Stand Cons: Low resolution for the size. Samsung also sells a 2561x1440 monitor in this size, which is what I ended up going with at the end after returning this monitor. No G-Sync - Since I am running an NVIDIA Graphics card, this is a bust for such an expensive monitor

great monitors, just what i was looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i looked at (and bought and paid to send back) four other vesa compatible led monitors, including the samsung 49 inch wide screen of which i found i kept wanting to streach the image taller as in some tablet commercial i saw, before i found these. i ended up buying three of these, and soon to be five. the total so far is seventy three and three quarters inches of monitor space that is set to curve around me for a very immersive experience. the colors are vivid and the images are clear and crisp with sharp edges. the vesa compatible mount is also what i needed in this product so i can hang them. there are more expensive products that i read about and viewed but i have not bought and tried but comparing with these monitors i think the the extra money is just a waste. if you are looking for a great viewing experience and need a vesa mount, these monitors are a great product and great value for the price. i am extremely content with this find/purchase and will happily, hardily and annoyingly corner and speak endlessly about these monitors to anyone who will listen. i have not finished my project completely yet, but i AM going to buy a few more of these monitors for it.

Not just for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to use primarily as a gaming monitor with an Alienware laptop and MSFS 2020. My productivity computer is a MacBook and I thought this screen might be too big for day to say work. But, I was wrong, the MacBook runs great on it and work has been much better with all the open windows that I can fit without covering things up. Screen is bright and fast, overall very pleased so far.

Amazing monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife works from home most days now and we have one of these monitors in her uptown office and one here at home so that here experience is identical no matter where she's working for that day. She loves that she can have 5-6 applications open and be able to see them all with minimizing her view. Beautiful colors and graphics.

Amazing!!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace 2 23" monitors because of our new work from home conditions. This is the same size as 2 27" monitors without the inconvenience of the thick bar in the middle. In other words, this thing is perfect for productivity. I had a huge spreadsheet that I did not have to continuously screen from left to right or vice versa. Perfect.

Love this monitor!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this morning for both work and play, and love how I can split the screen between my work and home to see everything at one time. The resolution for gaming is also a huge plus, especially when the game designers chose to take full use of the wide display. I also must add that I was able to find a decent Virtual KVM switch that made life even simpler with the use of one mouse and keyboard, while splitting the screen between work and home. The KVM program is called Synergy and was about 20 dollars.

Wow-large and in charge
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! This display is awesome. I am using this on my Microsoft Pro tablet dock using the display port cable connection. Plugged it in using the provide cable from Samsung and zero issues/zero sizing changes it just works. Yes I know its for gaming but I have huge spreadsheets I work with and man can you view a wide spreadsheet on this thing. Yes my kid likes it too when he plugs his gaming system to it as well.

Short term beauty ultimately disappointing
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great looking monitor while it lasted. 1 year and 7 months to be exact, I didnt have a warranty as it was purchased as a gift, and there's no manufacturer wwarranty offered. For $870 for less than 2 years of usage, without any kind of drop damage or stress in a non smoking household.... that's absurd. This is the first monitor I've ever had actually die in my lifetime. Not sure that it's worth the price, even if I had gotten the $150 extra warranty, seems like its guaranteed to need replaced and still not worth it. Would not recommend for long term use, but looks great while it lasts.

Great for a remote work space!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this monitor, replaced two seperate viewsonic 32" that I had on a single arm. Could never get the screens to perfectly line up. The real estate on this new curved 49'er is much more functional and clean. Use mainly for work paired with my MacBook Pro M1, use the Magnet app 2.7 for window snapping. Perfect for the remote office!

49" 32:9 is A LOT of screen real estate!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far, the most immersive monitor I have ever used. The ultra-wide ratio is great for multitasking, as well as enhanced game play. It's hard to appreciate the sheer size of the monitor; just the screen, itself, is a little over a foot tall, and about 4 FEET WIDE! If you're thinking about a massive monitor, it's hard to get a better bang for your buck, with this guy!

Think twice, that's my only advice
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mehhhhh. I would suggest saving your money. It's a fun piece of tech no doubt. But not worth what you pay for. It's technically still "LCD" and kind of a bummer that it doesn't have speakers! I know it's the usual case with monitors but when I'm paying close to a G after taxes, ahem.
