The back of the case is rigid but the sides are made of soft, clouded-clear rubber. The rubber easily sticks to the inside of your pocket, collects lint, and sometimes makes it a chore when you want to quickly grab your phone. If Samsung would've left the entire case rigid with no rubber/plastic edges, this would've been a home run.
