Very expensive but side by side with Insigna performance is lower

Very disappointed in this product. After 6 months the large charger quit working. BestBuy does nothing to help. Just tells you to contact the manufacturer. It would be nice if BestBuy stood behind what they sell.

When trying to charge a watch it can take several times to get it on the charger so that it begins to charge. If you hit the charger in anyway be ready to try and line up your watch again because it will not recognize the device again.

Cheaply built. Buy similar Belkin item. I cannot believe Samsung built something so low quality. And, it was extremely difficult to get devices in position to charge.

I have phone casing on my phone. Everytime I have to charge I have to take out my casing. Useless to buy this wireless charging waste money

Brought this product in April, and already, the left side of the charging pad stop charging.

I tried finding this item at local cell phone stores downtown (ie: Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T), but none of them carries this item. So when I went to a Best Buy store, it had both the white and black version of this, so I picked up the black version. Setup was a no-brainer, quick and easy. The brick charger is definitely larger than all my other Samsung bricks. I plopped down my Samsung S9 phone on the left side and my Samsung Galaxy 42mm watch on the right, and they both immediately started charging. The only strange thing that happened was that the watch would turn on repeatedly every 15 seconds to show the watchface and battery life, then turn off and do it all over again every 15 seconds. But thankfully, I think it stopped doing this after awhile which I found annoying. The other small nuisance is that I can hear the fan come on at night in the bedroom when my devices are charging. Even though it's very quiet, I can still hear the fan. Also, even though the red and green lights are small, I still find this annoying in a dark bedroom. I now use this duo charger to keep at home to charge my Galaxy watch, and keep the OEM Samsung Galaxy watch charger at work to top off. All in all, I'm satisfied with this Samsung duo charger. I would prefer that the phone charging side is able to stand up diagonally, but maybe the next version will have this feature?

So far, this charger is easily meeting my expectations. $99 is probably a little much for the price point, but if you're able to find this charger on sale in the future, definitely nab it up. For this review, I'm using a Note8, and a Galaxy watch. Past duo Samsung chargers have been said to have noisy cooling fans, finicky placement of phone/watch to engage wireless charging, and can leave the phone/watch feeling hot when removed from the charger. So that's what I'm specifically looking for in this review. First, this is Fast Charge 2.0. For your phone to benefit from 2.0, it must be capable of receiving such charging. The Note8 is not 2.0 capable; therefore, it's the exact same charging time on my older Samsung wireless charger (2017), as it is on the brand new one. My new S10+ will be here on Friday, so I will be able to benefit from the 2.0 specs then. But don't buy this thinking it's going to charge your old phone faster. It does come with a 25W wall charger, and that must be used for the product to work correctly - so don't think you can mix and match other Samsung wall chargers you may have. The charger is fairly thin and non-obstructive for places you may lay it, and as such, it's fairly portable too. There are two built in LEDs in the center. Red indicates charging and proper placement of device, but in the event of improper placement, there's not really an indicator that I could tell. The red LED just becomes dull in brightness, or flickers off completely. Once charged, you will see a green LED indicating full charge. For the Watch side, it does say fast charge, and while it's hard to compare to the traditional watch charger Samsung gives you, it did charge my Galaxy Watch 25% in roughly 30 min, if not a bit less. I'm honestly not sure how that compares to the stock charger Samsung gives you. As far as phone placement goes, so long as you somewhat center your phone on the charger, it will catch a charge each time. Being too far up, or too far down will not engage the charge - that said, you'd pretty much need to put the phone down negligently for it to not engage. As for watch placement, the charger is a little bit cupped, so placement is pretty straight forward as it "catches" in the cup of the charger position. So again, unless you're putting the watch down negligently, placement shouldn't be an issue. I will mention there's little room for tolerance on charging, but I've had no issues with incorrect placement. As for product temperature, I let the products charge from about 50% to 100% and the phone was left feeling very cool. The watch had a vague warmness feeling to it, as did the pad it charged on. Nothing any different from the stock charger though. On the bottom of the charger, there is a built in fan to dissipate heat. There is not one on the watch side; however, I'm not sure is the fan cools the unit in its entirety. The charger itself is left feeling cool. The fan is quiet and I can not hear an audible sound unless sticking my ear next to the unit. Some people with sensitive hearing may hear an ever so faint hum which is the sound of the fan. In summary, it's a good charger that gets the job done. Again, I do feel the $99 price-point Samsung has put on it is a little steep, but it is their first charger with 2.0 capability, so I guess that demands a premium until they saturate their product portfolio a little bit. I'd recommend it, but this is a no-frills charger; there's nothing particularly sexy about it, no premium material that makes me say "wow", and no convertible stand function. All that said, I'm rating the charger a 5-stars because it works as designed, and I see no poor design or malfunction to otherwise dock a perfectly good product.

I got this charger to go with my new S10+ I just got, I figured since I had a Galaxy Watch this would be great as I can charge both devices with only one charger taking up desk space. The build quality is good, its lightweight and has little rubber pads on the bottom to make sure the charger doesnt slide around on the surface. The charger has little Red lights to let you know that its charging a device, the lights are very dim, I assume this is done for bedtime friendliness so you have to pay close attention to make sure the device in correctly place on the charging pad. The fast charge 2.0 charges the S10 super fast and has a small fan on the bottom of the charger to keep the charger cool. Overall im happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Very nice charger. Comes with a USB C cord and a 25w brick. Charges my S8+ thru a otterbox commuter case. Im pretty impressed

I’ve always had Samsung wireless chargers but could only charge one device at a time. While I own multiple devices that are capable of wireless charging, buying this one was a no brainer for me. With my galaxy S10+ it charges fast with the 2.0 wireless charging. If you have two devices charging at once it only charges at normal fast wireless charging speed but that is fine for me for overnight charging.
