    After 2 years and geek squad coming out several times due to the ice maker constantly freezing and not functioning properly. I do not recommend another Samsung fridge. Each tech has constantly spoke about the problems with this design and it’s poor function. The family hub is also somewhat worthless since all the apps don’t perform with full functionality. So if you want a fridge buy a fridge and then buy an iPad. This appliance performs poorly on all aspects. The fridge shelves don’t adjust much And the freezer compartment takes a moment to maintain a freeze. We actually had to purchase a deep freezer to ensure our items like ice cream stay frozen! It’s a very expensive topic of conversation and that’s about it. And good luck trying to escalate your issues to get a replacement no matter how many times they say they escalate it and I should here back from a supervisor.

    This was our 2nd unit and it went bad within months. Warranty from Best Buy and Samsung works but repairs or replacement can take 2-3 weeks. How can we go on without the refrigerator for 3 weeks? This is ridiculous...

    Love the fridge. Purchased in 2017. It’s a pretty cool conversation piece and a fun toy at times but the ice maker is a nightmare! I have had to get it fixed twice and it still freezes often. I have to constantly put it in forced defrost mode then scrape the ice from the frozen parts.

    First, the product has some cool features and looks great. Also love the flex zone. But I had several people warn me about Samsung refrigerators and I should have listened. I bought this early summer and it already has crapped out. So far I have had a technician out twice (taking two days off) and neither time could fix it. This time they replaced the cooling unit but said freon is leaking somewhere. Technician had send in pictures of the unit to "prove" it was leaking internally. No clue what they can tell from looking at photos of the back but I will be now heading on week 3 with no refrigerator. I called customer service to ask how they were going to get this resolved and got absolutely nowhere. I complained about having to be this long without a refrigerator and the agent's response was that she once went 3 months without one. First, what kind of response was that and who would wait 3 months with no refrigerator. Second, give me a break! Finally, almost forgot she was the 3rd call I had to make to get someone that could legitimately speak English. The first 2 hit a thousand key strokes, put me on hold and kept transferring me to a number that had no live person and I would get connected. By the time I got this poor 3rd agent, my calm approach had elapsed. Take it from me, this refrigerator looks cool but the performance of Samsung is now something I am beyond. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand!

    I usually don’t write reviews but we’ve had so many problems from this refrigerator I felt I needed to. We purchased 3 years ago and have had spent hours on the phone getting technicians out to fix numerous issues. We’ve had the fridge stop keeping food cold twice, currently the ice maker has stopped working. This is not what we expected from a $4,000 investment. We would have been much better off with with different brand as a much lower cost. Don’t waste your money with Samsung!

    Great appliance ruined by huge flaw

    I would love to rate this refrigerator at 5 starts but I just can not. The Ice Maker freezes up almost weekly. I have had multiple repairs now and they last maybe a few months before it starts happening again. Some of the repairman are actually trying to convince me to live with it because apparently this design is so common with this flaw that they do not believe it can ever be fixed. I am truly confused how a refrigerator this expensive can have this type of flaw with no real fix. Why is Samsung still selling this?

    please do not buy this refrigerator. started having problems with the ice maker the first month of use. Samsung refrigerators aren't the best. don't spend your money go with another brand

    I will never buy ANY Samsung appliances EVER again. My refrigerator and dish washer have had to be serviced after just 3 years of owning, so buy the extended warranty if you want to gamble with getting Samsung appliances. Customer service is mediocre at best, I was told I would be contacted in 2 days and I instead had to call back 3 times before they contacted me again. I was told I cancelled by service ticket the day after I called, which was incorrect and ignorant. I was also never offered help or asked my issue I was given a price. All while my refrigerator is not keeping temperature so for the past week I have had to live off take out or frozen food. Don't waste your money or time.

    I own one of these Samsung refrigerators. It is 7 months old and broken. Now, I did not get it at Best Buy, but if you do. Get their warranty! I have been trying to deal with Samsung direct to repair mine and it has been a month! Still not repaired and Samsung could care less! Be careful on your purchase from Samsung anything! I also have two Samsung TV's that have broken BUT, I did buy those at Best buy and got the warranty! Much easier to deal with Best Buy!
