I love this charger. Being able to just set my phone on the pad without plugging anything in is great. My last phone's plug for the charging cable was getting really worn and I was afraid it would stop working. Not an issue with this charger. Not sure it is any faster than a plug in, but I'm usually not in a hurry to charge anyway.

I got this wireless charger because I had gift cards to spend and a Galaxy S7 Edge. It works well but lost a couple of stars due to design choices I thought weren't all that great. 1. The charging stand has a lip to keep your device on it. Only trouble is the lip is a bit on the small side if you have a protective case on the phone. I find it a little tricky to get the device to stay put when placing it on the charger late at night before bed. I larger lip or the ability to tilt the stand at a couple of different angles would be a huge improvement. Because gravity. 2. The LED indicators on the front of the charger are really bright. So bright that they light up an otherwise pretty dark room. I immediately found myself putting stuff in front of the LED indicators so they wouldn't be shining in my face like a Maglite all night. Eventually I solved the problem by putting electrical tape over the LEDs. Haven't missed them one bit. If I want to know whether my phone is actually charging, I can look at its display.

I originally had a bulky case on my phone so this charged it so slowly would not be even 50% in the morning was going to return it for that reason but then I read a review that said depending on how bulky the case was it would not charge fast. Now without a case it still isn't as fast as just plugging it directly into the charger which is why I didn't rate it higher.
