Overall, it's fine, and gets the job done. However, if you accidentally place your phone on it skewed or not all the way down, it won't charge, so double-check to ensure it's being charged. Also, from a strictly aesthetic perspective, it comes with a white cable, despite the device being black, which makes it look mismatched.

The Samsung charging stand does a great job of charging the battery in my Samsung S6 phone. I needed this stand because Samsung phones in my experience have charging ports that do not last. (This is the second Samsung phone I have had where the charging port failed in an otherwise great phone)

This charger works great. Helps save your charge port from getting destroyed. Only thing that I can say on the negative side is that it is way too easy for your phone to fall off through even the most incidental of contact. Cases help but even still your phone can slide off the lip. I definitely recommend it though.

I got this stand for free when I bought my S8+ at BB. I have a flat stand for my S6 but that is a terrible design because the phone can easily drift off the center and not charge. Not with this upright stand. The phone stays put. So I really like using it. I might even buy a second one for my desk.

The charger work well charges the phone very fast.

I primarily use this for charging at night, and it works great for that. Holding the phone at an angle makes this work well in overnight use with the GS8 persistent clock display turned on. I understand the charge rate is slower than the max available corded rate, but for my use it is no problem.
