Maybe not as fast as a cable charger, but it does save wear tear on my phone. I bought this in case my sub port would end up like my other phones. I switch between wireless and cable chargers. I really don't have to charge my phone to much. Maybe once a day.

Folds flat and gets small enough to carry with you in a bag if you need to. Works great and charges fast. The only negatives are that the pad is not leather, and your Galaxy S8+ Will sit slightly off kilter unless you take your time to place it in the cradle perfectly

This is a great charger which the phone can rest in an upperward angle or flat depending on the angle of the charger. I was never a fan of "wireless" chargers since it is still plugged in but I got this so I could easy pick up the phone when leaving.

I bought this convertible charger for my iPhone X as there is not a release date for the Apple charger. Although a little more expensive than others it is well worth investment! As my family has Apple products I returned and bought my daughter the same one.

I have never used a wireless charger before, all I can say is it helps me keep my phone charged compared to just having the cord laying around. I am not sure if the corded connection is faster but at this point I don't care. I time it to where my phone is ready when I am.

I have an iPhone and wanted the sleekest look, performance is so-so... you have to have to dead centered in right spot. Nice looking but not too practical if used flat, standing works fine because gravity and positioning gets it great with my 8 Plus.

I received this item as a bonus for upgrading to the Galaxy S8+. Being able to change the charging position is great. My only downside is the charging led indicator lights up my entire bedroom at night since it is so bright. Very minor complaint though. Solid product.

Does exactly what is expected! Love that it has two positions. I was surprised to hear a fan come on when it was to hot. Did not stay on long and has not come on since. I will say that it was sitting in my bathroom in front of the window (total heat box) at the time.

Very nice charger. Works well standing up or sitting at landscape on the charger. Does not fit some cases well and will need to be adjusted and the phone moved to find "the right spot" to activate the charger. Otherwise a great product.

It does work, it charges but not as simple as I had hoped with my new Note8. With the charger in it's flat position, the middle of the phone has to be sitting exactly in the middle of the charger for it to charge, if not centered it will not work. With the charger in an upright kickstand position it would not charge my Note8. It also takes a little longer to charge then the plug-in fast charger. I don't like cords because even when you are very careful unplugging them they always start to come apart or short out and also eventually don't fit good into the phone, so I will continue using both in the hope of it helping the fast charging cord and charge port on my phone to last longer.

It's really nice and the fast charging is good. However if you have a Mophie case then you will not be able to use this as a standing charger. The "lip" that holds the phone up is too shallow to accommodate my s9+ in the Mophie case it is in.

I decided to go with the top of Samsung line with this convertible charger. I'm using in the upright position however it can be used as a flat pad charger, as well. I like the soft leather like pad. Works great and I'm glad I made this purchase from Best Buy.

This charger has a different surface than all the other Samsung chargers before. It is like a faux leather that provides grip to better hold the phone. I can have one in my car now and it keeps the phone in place even when braking or turning aggressively.

I got his one primarily because I work from home and require the phone to be propped up when I'm on it. Combine these with airpods and I can see any additional messages while I'm on the phone. Good purchase overall. It charges any Qi enabled phone.

This product has performed as expected. I like the option to use flat or tilted. The soft pleather like material is good for gripping the phone...however it collects dust and grim and is difficult to clean.

Worked great for first couple weeks but in convertible mode it doesn’t want to charge my phone. It works great laying flat no problems at all. But soon as you flip it up starts charging then quits, charges and quits, and on and on.

Very fragile. Fell of night stand without protective case and it cracked the case and screen. It was 3 weeks old, I had the protection agreement but it cost me $200.00 and 5 hours in the store. No one knew how to handle the replacement.

This thing works as advertised. It charges so fast that both my wife and I have not had either of our phones get a battery condition less than 80%. No fiddling around with plugs. Lay the phone on the unit and it begins charging.

it worked great the first couple of weeks, but recently it just doesnt seem to charge as fast, i dont know if its anything im doing or what, i dont put the case on the charger, so i know thats not the problem, but it does still charge

It does what its supposed to do. It does get a little tricky if you have a phone case, you have to position your phone just right for it to charge. It won't work if your phone case is really thick or if it has metal on it.
