It's downfall is that if you are wanting a charger that will allow your phone to sit up straight for viewing, this doesn't. The phone leans about halfway between upright and laying down. If your thinking I'll just prop the back of the charger, that's a fail too, the base is round so it doesn't prop up well. If you do manage to get it propped up, the phone slides on the base so it looses connection from the charger.
