Great idea, but not always perfect

However, it doesn't always start charging when I put my phone on it (even when I remove my case). Very disappointing when I wake up in the morning to a dead battery instead of a fully charged phone.

Good product, but only has typical charge speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a good product realizing a cool concept, but the charging time is actually slower than my last phone (Nexus 6P). Albeit, that was a wired charge. Nonetheless, this device is listed as "Fast Charger". Had I known it would take as long to charge as it does (~2 hr from 0-100%), I would have gotten the normal charger for half the price, especially since I only typically charge my phone overnight. The convenience of it is good, but I really don't think it justifies the price. Also, the charge notification light (blue: charging, green: charged) is very bright especially in the middle of the night, with no option to turn it off. That would be a nice feature for the next version. I won't be buying this again, but will keep this, as my next phones (in the coming years) will all most likely have the wireless charge feature. Bottom line: Buy the cheaper, non-fast charge version.
