I have baked a ham in the whole oven (with the center piece removed) and it turned out fine. But I have tried to bake cookies and banana bread in the top and each time it burns and bakes unevenly. Very disappointed.

Great cooktop, fair oven

First, the maximum temperature possible is only 480 degrees. Second, the temperature does not remain steady but rather fluctuates during the cooking process. Lastly, the double/split oven gives flexibility but each oven has a limited temperature range depending on the temperature setting of the other oven.
