Great Product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have the range at home for 2 months now and use it regularly. I have read most of the reviews that were posted and thought I can add a little more. First, let me say that most of the cooking we do at home is performed at the range top - and of the five burners we have not yet used the center one. But the four that we use are truly outstanding! This area is clearly a HUGE strength of this appliance and it is versatile and easy to use. The 22k burner is extremely powerful - probably as powerful as it gets without going to very high end line. With it we reached searing and oil heating temperature that we have never thought possible on a stove top yet it can be lowered to near-simmer levels. The second strongest (15K) is excellent as well, and the smallest one is a true simmer burner. I really like the design that leaves enough space in the back so that larger skillets or pots can be placed there without overlapping the front burners area. As for the stove, we mostly use the two compartments configuration with the divider in (only once we cooked with the divider out). We do not bake cookies or cakes so I do not have much to say there, but we do cook meat, chicken, fish, and vegetables. Having two compartments is so nice especially when you have a dinner with several courses to bake or roast. Things just move so much faster altogether and of course you can use the compartment to keep things warm before serving. We do not find it a problem that "broil" is only at the top and "bake-no convection" only at the bottom, since you can choose where you place things based on what you need. We have used the oven about a dozen times so far and without exception the results were excellent! Love the touch controls - very easy to follow and responsive. Finally - heat vent - mainly at the back, through very active fans, no problem at all. During extended cooking in the oven, all the external surfaces are only slightly warm and there is no issue of escaping heat, hot knobs, etc. Altogether - for what we need - a great buy!

Not a TRUE double oven, but it works really good!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this installed for a few weeks now and can give a few pros and cons.... Pros: Stove top heats quickly and cleans up nice. Illuminated dials show when one is on with a glance, which is nice when you have a burner turned on but is not lit. Wi Fi controls a bit cumbersome, but nice to adjust oven and timer from your phone. Oven heats rapidly and convection cooks really quick without adjusting recipe temps. ----------------------------------- Cons: Top oven has a tendency to crisp up the top of things being baked. DO NOT USE TOP OVEN FOR CAKES as it will burn the top before it even is done. Pizza, cookies, meats and such come out fine. Even cooked a frozen pie well in the top as long as the rack in the top portion is at it's lowest. sometimes a bit of foil covering will help keep the tops from scorching. Remember the heating comes out of the TOP burner which is also used to broil, so it's quite hot. We typically keep the rack in the top oven at it's LOWEST point. The oven vents it's heat from top back of the unit which will melt things hanging on the back-splash. Keep in mind that the heat coming from these vents is quite intense and I advise a heat resistant back-splash wall like tile, stone or metal. --------------------- Conclusion: Because I didn't expect it to run exactly like a typical dual oven, I'm not disappointed. I'm learning where to place things to get the best results. My mother-in-law absolutely loves it even with the top oven issue. Nothing that couldn't be adjusted. I have instructed her to use the lower oven for corn bread and cakes to help with the top burning issue. I'd give it 5 stars, but with the limitations from the top oven and WiFi features being so limited, I have given it 4.

Great look, oven cavity not well designed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love the black stainless and slide in look. It is really easy to keep clean even with all our kids cooking on it. The gas top works well. We have had this unit 3 months and have not been able to get good results in the oven cavity with or without the divider. With the divider in: The top smaller portion of the oven is where the broiler heating unit is. The result is the heating element is just inches from your food. Even with reduced temperatures we have burned pizzas and taco shells in the time it took to preheat the upper portion of the oven. The technician measured the temperature of the upper unit and measured it as normal. The bottom portion also reads slightly lower than expected with the divider in. I have good results cooking smaller items in the lower portion with the divider in. With the divider removed: With the oven preheated to 400 F the technician gets a temperature reading of around 400 at the top of the oven and 250 at the bottom (this is with convection running.) This cannot be fixed and was told this is normal because as soon as the divider is removed it turns off the bottom heat sensor. The geek squad tech said he has never seen such a large temperature difference within a cavity of an oven. Be advised that it is hard to cook more than one food item at a time with the divider out. If you need everything cooked at the same temperature, or if you are cooking a large item, make sure the bottom of it is cooked and the top isn't overcooked. I have cooked in lots of ovens here and overseas over the years we were in the military, this one is the hardest to get good results. I have been actively cooking and baking for over 40 years.

Intuitive, accurate and darn pretty!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched and researched before deciding on the FlexDuo from Samsung. The blue light indicator on the dials was the difference that made me choose this over the other very similar model. I wanted to easily know if the burner was on or off. We had Best Buy deliver and install the range, and couldn't be happier. They were on time, proactive and thorough with ensuring it was installed properly and that we knew how to use it. The installers also recommended running the oven at 425' for an hour before cooking anything, to help burn off any manufacturing residue. Additionally, I would recommend seasoning the HEAVY cast iron griddle on both sides before your first use (will make flipping pancakes much easier)! You can google recommended methods. With the blue indicator lights and the satisfying, conclusive click of the dials, the heat control feels accurate and consistent. Meanwhile, the touchpad screen that controls the dual ovens is intuitive, even for a busy mom like me who doesn't have time to read the manual. Samsung knows how I think. All in all, we love how it looks and works, and look forward to making more complicated meals now that we have the flexibility of the double oven. (It's also VERY pretty alongside our matching Samsung french door refrigerator.) Five stars!

The potential to bake like a professional
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased and received my oven the day before Thanksgiving. So far so good. I have made the best cookies ever!! In my old oven, half would be crispy and the other half, on the same sheet, would be uncooked. I used the top and bottom ovens to make these, just to see if there was consistency in cooking... yes, yes there was. I have not tried to bake at two temps yet - coming soon. I feel like I have the potential to bake like a professional with this oven. I am looking forward to many years of home cooked meals made with this oven. I have not used the wireless features. I most likely will not be using it, but it is nice to know it is there if I want.

Really Happy with Oven; Convention Fan Failed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are really happy with the range. The dual oven is a nice feature and the cooktop is easy to clean. The convection fan failed at 18 months (out of warranty) and it makes a loud grinding noise. If I purchased again I would get an extended warranty as 12 months is too short for a major appliance.

Fantastic Range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are really enjoying our Duo Slide-in Gas Range. It is sleek and blends seamlessly with our counter tops and cabinets. The flame control is excellent on all the burners. We have not used the "duo" feature of the oven yet. The oven has performed flawlessly in both the bake and broil mode. The touch pad for the oven is easy to understand and use. We give it an A+.

Black stainless steel
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money the range is not worth the cost it cooks great but the double oven sucks. The paint started to peel of called Samsung to replace the part they said cosmetic damage is not cover they decided without even locking at it. Save some buy something cheaper so when something happens it won’t hurt that much.

Temperature is not maintained
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve had this stove for three years and I would have to pay someone to take it. The upper oven started having issues intermittently with holding a steady temperature about a year ago. There would be as much as a 200 degree difference in what it was set on and what the actual temperature was inside the oven. The convection fans rattle on and off as well. It’s gotten so bad now that we can’t use the upper oven at all, which defeats one of the main reasons why we purchased this oven.

This oven has an issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this oven about a year ago. After a few months the door stopped closing properly. We called Samsung and they came out 4 times and finally changed the door. The door worked for couple of weeks then started having same issues. I have spent many hours on the phone with Samsung and after 3 months our oven is still not fixed. Very disappointed with Samsung and their customer support. Think twice before you buy the double door oven.

Avoid. Last Samsung appliance Ill buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.~3 years in & only issues. First range was a dud, 2nd one perpetually tripped my breaker - I had an electrician diagnose the line and he isolated the issue to the oven (e.g. small spike once pre-heating was finished) - then the motherboard and all electronics + the door were replaced... equivalent to buying a used range with a warranty yet purchased new when the unit was just released. Having the door replaced a 2nd time next week. Performance? 2 burners are pretty good, most burners basically toggle between 0 or 100, and the oven is terrible. The app is useless. You can't even sync the time unless you cancel cooking first. Self cleaning...nope. Just sets off my fire alarm.
