Great Oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are very happy with our new Samsung FlexDuo oven. After having the oven a few weeks, we haven't had any issues or frustrations. First bakes: we previously had an electric range, so we were very happy going back to the gas range and the faster heat times. Our first bake was chicken nuggets and French fries. My wife loves crispy French fries which we normally have to start 15 minutes before the nuggets. This was a perfect test for the dual oven. It emit perfectly! Our French fries were the perfect crisp and the chicken nuggets were still juicy. We've had a little bit of a learning curve with the convection bake, but the flexibility of the oven makes it easy to choose the right mode. Overall we're very happy with our new oven. The ability to have another oven for keeping items warm or separate bake will be a fantastic value to our growing family.

Don’t both. Find something else.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The duo door doesn’t open! Only the top door opens. So the bottom half is useless. And surprisingly it is off of warranty! So now what? I will attempt to reach put to Samsung but we all know how these big company’s are, they only care about taking your money and if its still under warranty. My previous stove was my mom’s and it was 20 years old and never had a problem. Everything is disposable and not build to last. It’s a shame.

Super easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving the small oven on top, convenient and efficient. Cooks evenly and doesn’t heat up the entire kitchen if you’re using just the upper half. User friendly with easy to understand buttons.

STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so very disappointed in ever purchasing an appliance suite from Samsung. We purchased the appliance suite when we bought our first house at the end of 2018. We spent over $6000 and ever since it’s been nothing but an endless nightmare. Our oven broke within a couple of months. then our microwave, all Samsung. The oven which broke on thanksgiving, ruined that holiday for my family. Then it went on to break a total of 3 more times. That doesn’t include the two times we had to have it replaced. Then our dishwasher started constantly flashing an error code. So that had to be repaired. Then our oven CAUGHT ON FIRE (problem #6? I’ve lost count). I turned it on to preheat it, and it started shooting out flames. Nothing was in the oven and it was clean. We were given a one time warranty repair, after all of the problems we’ve had. I doubt this oven will make it 2 Years. Beyond all of that, the temperature is off by 50 degrees. Thousands of dollars down the drain. Now our dishwasher is broken yet again, it keeps flashing an LC code, it is completely broken and will no longer work. It’s also out of warranty. Samsung’s own website has TONS of complaints on the same issue for both oven and dishwasher, yet they are refusing to acknowledge it as a known issue. I have never in my entire life experienced SO MANY endless issues with an appliance or electronic. We have been faithful Samsung customers for years, it’s why we chose your appliances. But this? I thought wow, we must have endless bad luck, but I don’t believe it’s bad luck. I believe your company put out faulty products and you offered a very short warranty, and an endless headache for your customers. I have searched online complaints and reviews. The oven problems we’ve experienced are very common, as is the LC code error. Can your company really not own up to its issues? Do you really not stand by your products? Can you at least stand by your loyal customers? We aren’t seeing that happen. After 18 months of hell via your products, I am so very disappointed. I don’t even have any words. I am also devastated that our family is our $6,000 and we have nothing to show for it. Your products robbed us of our hard earned money. Your company refuses to do anything, even after problem, after problem, after problem. So our loyalty to Samsung ends here and I will make sure to share my story. Eventually, enough customers will tire of your faulty products and lack of customer service, and they will stop purchasing. Eventually you’ll care.

Buy a different brand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had this stove for 5 years. Two of the burners have to be manually lit and the oven is hit or miss. I've had to turn it on/off up to 4x to get it to preheat. Nobody that we've called works on Samsung stoves.

Blah!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glad its discontinued lol I miss my old Kenmore. This one has been completely unreliable. As far as a cooktop I would give it 4 stars but for the Oven it gets 0. Fast forward a couple years and the oven is dead. I made a big mistake in setting the kitchen up with Samsung appliances! We never use the split oven either - was tryign to conserve energy with making a pizza but then it only heats the top and the bottom undercooked!

Do NOT BUY!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A few months after buying this range in June 2019 we started seeing error code CA2. So inconvenient when you have something baking and you have to basically start over and have no idea how much time was left. The troubleshooting steps say to just reset power, which we did. The error kept coming up sporadically. Lesson learned, I should've stayed on the phone for the hour-long wait time to report the issue before the warranty expired. Now, we are stuck with a repair bill (still undetermined cost until the service is performed). The repair warranty is only good for 90 days. I wanted to submit a complaint with Samsung, but they said this is not a known issue. A less than 2 year old appliance should not break down like this. Let alone before within the first few months. Another issue we have seen is it will occasionally not reach temperature after waiting for more than 30 minutes. Should take less than 10 minutes to reach 350 (or even less than that). Only happens sometimes, but it's very annoying and a time waster.

Stay away from Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this stove in 2018 and was super excited. It was a great stove, but fast forward two years later it's become a super disappointment. First, Samsung's appliances are poor performers when it comes to longevity. After just two years the full door is no longer opening correctly and the cooling fan behind the wall oven is no longer running up to speed. I found that out when I set it to self-clean. which made sense, because I was starting to wonder if the oven was heating properly. The short answer, nope! and hasn't been for a while. Samsung service department doesn't care either, if you did not purchase the warranty you're out of luck, not that I believe they would have covered anything with a warranty anyway. I encourage you to do your homework!! I wish I did mine :(

Expensive to fix and parts not readily available
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased Feb. 2020. After a year the clock was unreadable due to some of the LEDs not working. Fast forward to Dec. 2023 and the oven quit working. Display shows a C-F0 fault which is a communication error between main and sub control boards which are of course expensive and back ordered. So now we have an oven less than 4 years old that we cannot use to prepare the Christmas feast that we host every year. Needless to say we will not be purchasing another Samsung to replace it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought this range after my Bosch range that i had for 20 years started to faultier i bought the entire kitchen package including fridge dishwasher microwave range i did not purchase the extended warranty. after one year i started having trouble with two of the knobs the n 3 then 4 then all 5 the connection is made with a plastic insert with in a metal knob. it reached a point where i could not turn on the burners so i tried to use a pair of pliers this worked for only two of the burners when i called best buy after spending over $10,000 on kitchen equipment washer dryer a 5 flat screen tv's they told the knobs can be replaced for $80.00 per knob i am furious and now have stove that i can only use one burner on going on 4 years now. they tell me they can send out the manufacturer to fix it but that it will not be cheap !!! 5 replacement knobs at $80.00 each is $400. thats before the $100. fee to dry out here on top of what ever new parts they need and how many hours it will take to fix it !! i should have just stayed with a trusted manufactuer of BOSCH for my range and dish washer ! the micro wave came damaged as did the first stove that blew up as the washing machine ! very unhappy !!!

Dangerous!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this stove and when operating the oven smelled a strong odor of gas. I called Samsung support and was told that I needed to run a self cleaning cycle for 4 hours because it was the “burn off” smell. I said it was gas. They told me to call my gas supplier. I did. My gas supplier came and tested the over and said the smell was due to the oven pushing out gas prior to igniting which in their words, was an explosion hazard. They disconnected my range and told me not to use it. I was able to get a replacement (after waiting a few weeks) and the same thing happened again. So that’s 2 stoves that weren’t working properly. I returned the second one and went with a different brand and have had no issues since. According to my gas supplier, it is never normal to smell gas when you turn on the over. It may occur when using the burners but never the oven.

Nice looking. Double oven is worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this years ago thinking it would help with Thanksgiving. I was sold on the Flex oven and door. Even though I read reviews about how it is almost impossible to cook items at once, except baked items like cookies, I wanted this oven. Now aftertime the bottom oven is so small with the rolling grate that you cannot even fit a casserole dish on it. The top oven preheats with the broiler and will burn anything under the burner unless it is set to the side. If you have it set to or it reheats with the broiler also. I came on here today to find a better oven and sell this one. It can only really be used as a single oven and works well that way. I read other reviews that this would be better suited without the drawer and add more oven space. Samsung answered that \ was a good suggestion and they would look into it. I love the burner range top with griddle and that is why this rated a 2. Save your money and get a single oven or find a larger double oven.

Not really a double oven at all.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is really a single oven with two sets of controls because the top oven only has an upper heating element and the bottom oven only has a lower heating element. Therefore pizzas in the top oven get burned on top and have a doughy crust. If you put he pizza in the bottom the paper starts on fire. Poor design. I heard it was discontinued but Best Buy is still selling them.
