This product worked well for 3 months. It was installed in Aug 2018. In Dec 2018, we had a no heating in the upper part of the duo unit. We contacted Samsung who sent a repair person to the house and replaced several parts. The upper part of the duo unit, has never worked well and so we stopped using it, which is a bummer because we spent a lot of money for that feature.
On Nov 29, 2020, the day before Thanksgiving, the oven stopped heating. I was planning on roasting a 20 lb turkey and a bunch of sides for Thanksgiving. On Friday, I contacted Samsung and chatted with someone about the issue. He had me unplug it for 5 minutes and plug it back in. It worked. However the next day, the oven stopped heating again. I have unplugged it several times, and it still doesn’t work.
I contacted Samsung service again. They will send a service man out but I am responsible for the cost.
We are very disappointed with this gas range. The oven stopped working twice in less than 2 1/2 years. I cannot believe I spent a lot of money for a piece of junk.

We purchased this oven the end of 2018. The oven's ON buttons (for the whole cavity, and then for the upper only cavity) started glitching around 2020. For most of 2023 we had a hard time using the oven because it only turned on maybe 50% of the time we tried. We finally tried to get it fixed (Jan 2024) and found out Samsung stopped making the touchpad part we need. Everything else works OK, but this one part they can't replace is rendering this oven unusable. A waste of $2,700.

The oven has been a huge disappointment... don’t buy it!
If for one reason only and that is the upper and lower oven can’t have more than 50° differential. Beyond that anything that comes within an inch of the screen reprograms the oven - it could be your hand, a cloth, a sneeze, a look out of the corner of your eye...and that stove will do whatever it wants except cook your food!

Hey Candlejumper! I completely understand how disappointed you are, let me help you find confidence in your range again. Please refer to pages 29 and 30 of your user manual, where it explains the temperature range for the twin mode: https://bit.ly/2HNUJFy. Regarding the control panel, I recommend you to clean it by using a soft cloth dampened with plain water, warm soapy water, or glass cleaner. Also, please make sure to lock the control panel by pressing and holding the Start/Set pad for 3 seconds before cleaning it. If you don't notice any changes, please contact us via:

Since we bought, convection fan sounds like an airplane taking off; had it serviced and told it was "normal". Unit not able to unlock after using self-clean; serviced for $350 to replace a part. (My research said it was a Samsung design flaw. Great if you want to pay for self-cleaning feature and not be able to use it.) Samsung should have withdrawn these "design error" products or provided a free fix. Instead, I had to bear the cost and headaches. So disappointed. Weeks after locked issue, bottom oven stopped working. Looking at replacing instead of paying $180 for service call. Expected a product to last 20 years, especially for what I paid. Instead need to replace after 5 years. Really wanted 2 ovens so I could use top to bake and not heat up entire oven. Great if that use does not include cookies or cakes - instructions tell you baking on top not advised - they were right - generally burns everything. (This fact not part of what you can see prior to getting the product.)

No issues, heat does not go to bottom when using the upper area. Color does peel off if scratch.

The concept of having two ovens that can be converted into one is a great one, but Samsung really messed it up. The top oven will burn everything on top. The bottom oven will burn everything on the bottom. The ovens are just too small so everything is too close to the burners. Try to cook a pizza in the top oven and you'll have a still-frozen stripe down the middle separating two halves that have been turned into charcoal. It's utterly useless.
We bought this two years ago so have had plenty of time to get used to it and figure out how to best use it so it doesn't ruin everything. And that way is simple: remove the middle divider so you have a single oven and cook everything in the center. The reviews we read prior to buying it said this but we wanted to believe that the concept worked. This was a mistake. It doesn't.
Summary: The hob & burners are fine. The ovens and broiler are rubbish.

The Range above is decent, seems to work. But the features of this oven that grant it the $2500 price point is the wifi, which is pointless, and the flex duo, which is guaranteed to destroy the food you cook with it.
The top oven, the only way it heats is by the broiler. So, cooking a pizza in it - the top of the pizza is completely cooked and the dough is raw.
Top oven just cooks everything too unevenly when using the top oven for anything.
Save your money, get a single door oven and skip the wifi features...

The top internal heating element and convection stopped working within 3 years and we are responsible for the full cost of repair. With this experience as well as now seeing all of the other similar experiences of others, I’m considering getting rid of this and buying a new oven. Why would I invest in this one only to risk a plethora of other problems on a practically brand new oven. I’ve learned an expensive lesson that I will NEVER buy ANYTHING with the brand name of Samsung.

5 years in and things keep breaking. Samsung won’t fix due to it being past 12 months of purchase. Fan makes a grinding noise that is horrible and high pitched. And the bottom oven doesn’t go past 248°
