It takes less than 3 minutes to Pre heat. The temp seems to be very accurate which is important when Baking. Looking forward to Thanksgiving when we are cooking for over 30 people and can really benefit from all its features.

I had read reviews of issues with the preheat buzzer going off before the temp was reached, and the oven not even reaching temperature, but there was an updated model so I went for it. I made sure to use all the functions as soon as I got it. *The preheat buzzer always goes off about 100 deg early *The top and bottom ovens will continue to increase temperature, but the top oven would be at least 50 deg below what I set it, and the bottom oven would be much closer but still off. *The top oven will reach a steady temp, and occasionally drop after that *When used as one large oven, the temperature was good *Best Buy sent a new range, same problems *Best Buy sent a technician who replaced three components, still is not working At his point I am going for a different range

Posted .Hi Denise! Don't give up just yet! I have some great information for you. When you use the upper and lower ovens at the same time, each oven has a minimum and maximum amount of power available and consequently a minimum and maximum temperature setting. You can find this and additional information on pg. 29 of your user manual. Thanks for being a part of the Samsung family! ^Mae
Good to start, fading fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really liked this unit the first couple of years, but now coming up on 5 years and having second thoughts, starting to develop problems. Door does not close fully and oven no longer functions properly, the dual oven function is lost at this point until I rectify the door situation of which I previously had another Samsung oven with the same problem so I will end up replacing the hinge assemblies. Aesthetics wise the logo and numbers are rubbing off. The heating elements on the stove top are no longer as efficient as they were when new. Just seems like an expensive appliance should last longer. I see more failures coming soon and at the price of parts for these it seems they are just disposable.
