    Great price goot phone!!

This phone has done great.. for 200 dollars .. it's actually very good. Don't expect super quality camera feats... Battery life is surprisingly good. It's fast. One thing: before you use it... Clear out all the extra apps (blotware) that you aren't definitely going too use.. my purpose for this phone meant that everything had to go. Except for calls text maps email internet. Everything else was up for removal . That's why my phone is fast and highly responsive considering the price of this phone.

    Good bang for the buck.

Way better than what I expected coming from a more expensive Android phone to a $200 phone. Only a few differences and functionality going to a cheaper phone. Battery seems to last quite a while for what I use it for. I cook a lot on Sunday, breakfast for the kids, I get lunch started at the same time and I also cook for my meals for the upcoming week all at the same time. It takes a couple hours and I usually have something like Netflix or something playing while I'm doing that. The battery held up through all of that and I still didn't have to plug it in until the end of the day. And that being said, it was still at 47% when I plugged it in. I didn't give it five stars for two reasons. First reason was when I tried to transfer all of my data to this phone, it wouldn't accept it no matter what I did or what I used to do so. I tried using the transfer cable that came with it and it wouldn't accept it, I tried to do it wirelessly, but it still would not connect and transfer anything. So everything that I had like games or apps that had data or whatever on them it would not transfer. I had to redo all of my apps. Number two, it seems to charge slowly... But as long as the battery holds up that's not a big deal

I was incredibly nervous about getting a samsung A series given how cheap they are. Turns out the A15 is ridiculously good for the price. Huge bang for the buck and I hope it keeps working! I would dock half a point for the lack of a 4K camera but I also knew that going in. I wish others would cut the BS and give more honest ratings.

Hi there foru, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy A15. We understand needing certain functionality and would be happy to help troubleshoot your device. Without knowing what carrier you are using with your device, if supported by your carrier you can use three way calling by doing the following, from the active call, tap Add call to dial the second call. Dial the new number and tap Call. When the call is answered: Tap Swap or the On hold number to switch between the two calls. Tap Merge to hear both callers at once (multi-conferencing). If you haven't done so already, the best way to see if zoom is available with your device would be to check the Google Play Store to see about downloading the app. If this option does not appear, we recommend reaching out directly to the software manufacturer to see what options may be available to resolve this. Thank you for being a Samsung customer. -Elizabeth Samsung

    2G Security Issue

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Android 14 operating system installed by Samsung on the unlocked Galaxy A15 5G with 128GB does not provide the option to disable 2G connections. Without this feature it has been reported criminals can use a transmitter between your phone and a carrier’s tower to compromise your cellular connection. Samsung Customer Service confirmed the feature typically located in System —> Connections —> Mobile Networks was absent from this phone and could not provide a security patch at this time. Hopefully Samsung will make an O/S security update available soon and add a comment to this review thereafter. Otherwise, I like the phone and would have given it a five star review.

    Cheap, and it shows

I get it, this phone is cheap. But it's awful. The phone is so so slow. It's slow to turn the screen on, to unlock, to open apps, to switch between apps, to do everything takes a lot of time. The camera is also pretty terrible. I had to buy this phone since my existing one broke, so as a back up, need today, phone, it does the job. But if you care at all about the quality of your experience, don't buy this phone.

Good basic phone. Camera quality has gone down. Replaced my A12, which had a superb camera, so I'm pretty disappointed. The A15 camera shoots with slower shutter speed, so it often gives me blurry results. It also uses a very strong sharpening filter which puts bright halos around high-contrast dark parts of the image (such as black text on documents). So, I'm disappointed.

It's great to hear from you, Terry! We value you as a customer and always look forward to assisting you. We see that you are reaching out to us regarding your A15. We're glad to hear that aside from the shutter speed, you have had a great experience. To address the shutter speed, we recommend trying Pro Mode on your camera. This will allow you to manually control ISO, shutter speed, and exposure levels, express your style with filters and alter white balance settings to fit diverse lighting situations. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to us at Support. -Kelvin Samsung

Doesn't function well with Google apps. I strongly prefer Motorola phones. Similar price but much easier to use. I have to use Google voice to get all the messages on my group chats. This is such an annoying phone and I don't like it.

Who would give this phone 5 stars ? Worst phone, I have never torched, don't believe youtube reviews, and these 5 star reviews. The screen is good, clear, that's all. But if the phone takes 3-4 seconds to register a touch ? and when you bring back the websites running background, the phone reloads it most of the time. This phone shouldn't be on the market, total garbage

    Very slow UI

I hadn't owned a Samsung phone in around 5 years, and finally decided to give them a try since I needed a budget phone for a while. I remember why I stopped buying Samsungs. The UI is incredibly slow, laggy, buggy, glitchy, and not fun to look at. One UI is way to heavy for this phone to run. I happily upgraded to a Moto G Stylus 5G today after the A15 decided to randomly call 911 and I'm much happier with the Moto UI.

    Wretched "Smart"phone

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

To say it lags is an understatement. It takes its time turning on, it takes its time opening apps, it takes its time loading webpages. My Bluetooth will randomly disconnect. I cannot listen to music and use other apps. My music apps will just shut down randomly. Only positive is the battery life. "Upgraded" from my S21 and I'd rather use an old Nokia...

BACK AWAY SLOWLY!!! This phone is not for you! I switched from my s21 ultra to this particular phone. I knew it wasnt going to be as fast but for what i paid for it should be decent.. thats where i was wrong. At first it was a decent little phone... now i curse this thing daily. I can go into my texts and i have a message that pops up saying "please insert a SIM card to continue". When traveling and trying to listen to music at the same time, it just ceases all functions and will cause the GPS to lag and my music to cut off. when trying to answer a call it will take forever to "answer" then gives me a missed call notification. Lastly, my screen will just completely stroke out alot of the times. I can be texting someone and it will just start saying i clicked something when i really didnt. So in case you made it this far and youre STILL thinking of getting the a15... Dont!!!

Purchased this phone coming from a Samsung A50. I have always been a loyal Samsung customer, this being my fifth android. This A15 has given me nothing but problems. I have been in and out of Verizon four different times and they finally told me the phone is the problem. I tried multiple different SIM cards as I was limited to WiFi calls only and now all my calls randomly drop even on WiFi calls. This was a huge disappointment and I understand this isn’t the best android available but I still expect better from a newer Samsung product. Extremely dissatisfied!
