It could be faster but a charge lasst a good 12-14 hours of continued use. The phone itself is fast and easy to set up. I just used the SIM card from my old phone and transferred and traxnsferred my number and information. The camera has 3 settings and takes great pictuers easily. I only need a user friendly phone ford calls, text, directions and pictures and this is perfect. I don't know why you'd need to pay more for a phone. It has all the features of $4-5 hundred dollorcphones.
