Bought the Galaxy A16 5G, 128GB. Solid phone for the price. Smooth performance, great battery lasts all day, and love the six-year update promise. Camera's decent in daylight, but night shots and gaming could be better due to limited RAM. Overall, great budget buy!

Still trying to get used to it but so far I am happy with it. Has much more storage and the pictures come out better than on my old phone.

This is a very good phone. The only issue is coming from a Galaxy S22 to this A16, i definitely notice the speed difference. The battery life is great and its a great phone, for the money.

solid consistent durable smooth operating phone without spending lots of money long battery nice camera

I wanted to take a cheaper phone on vacation rather than my regular phone. Best Buy had this bad boy on special so I got me one. Yes the phone is not as snappy as my more expensive phone, but for a whole lot less, I can live with it. The Camera is good, the screen is clear and bright enough, Battery life has been great. All in all for the price I paid, i'd say I got great value for money.

I purchased Samsung Galaxy A16 5G from best buy. The purchase was very smooth and took very short time. I loved the product. The display and camera are impressive.

This is an excellent phone for everyday use. It is a nice size with a clear display. Very easy to use with lots of options for personal preferences and ringtones.

I was excited to upgrade to the Samsung A16, expecting at least a modest improvement over my previous Moto G 2023, but unfortunately, this phone's speed has been a disappointment. The A16 constantly lags and gets stuck, making even basic tasks frustrating. Scrolling through apps, switching between screens, and even typing can feel sluggish. What’s most surprising is that despite being two years newer, the A16 actually feels slower than my old Moto G. Looking at Geekbench scores, my A16 has a single-core score of 853 and a multi-core score of 1824, compared to my Moto G 2023’s 745 and 1779, respectively. On paper, the A16 should at least match my old phone’s performance, but in real-world usage, the A16 feels noticeably slower which makes it hard to use comfortably. Aside from the underwhelming speed, the phone does have a decent screen and camera for the price, but I simply can’t recommend it due to the poor performance. I understand that a budget phone isn’t going to be a powerhouse, but I at least expected it to perform as well as my old Moto G. Sadly, that’s not the case.

This phone is excellent, it works very well, and what I love most are the sharp photos. I highly recommend this phone.

Good phone works great no problem no issues easy to use

The display is great. I love the battery life and the the cameras are decent. It's a good bargain, especially with 6 years of update. I totally recommend it.

I think I can repeat a lot of the concerns other people had. Given that this us a new phone, it should perform much better than it does. The processor speed is not good and you will notice laggy, slow performance. Even with virtual RAM (only 4GB available), there is not enough memory to keep background apps open. I just fought for over half an hour to log into a bank app because I would request a text or call code, just to have the app be closed automatically and have to start the process all over again. Playing games is extremely difficult unless you close all other apps first, otherwise even simple animations cause lag and stuttering framerate. The screen is a good size and the phone is fairly inexpensive, but you're much better off buying a refurbished, several years old Galaxy S series for a comparable price or less. Check your options, because this phone is incredibly frustrating to use.

Amazing phone for the price. I was looking for a solid phone at a low price point and saw many good reviews on this model. It has the look, feel and speed of a much more expensive phone. It took some time to set up (mainly removing pre-installed apps that I'd never use), but there are multiple layout options to choose from so you can customize it as you like. One minor annoying feature is that when you automatically sort apps in alphabetical order, folders are placed first, regardless of their order in the alphabet, and it can't be adjusted manually. I tried organizing all the apps by hand, but if the automatic sort option is disabled, the display format changes from scrolling to pages.

Works well. Easy to use and navigate. Camera quality is decent.

I upgraded to this from a Samsung galaxy A12 storage was a must from what I needed, phone size is amazing decent camera to take family photos and videos. If you're looking for a phone to just uses daily this is the phone for you

Efficient, great value for the money paid. Works just as well as my very pricy samsung galaxy s24. Wondering why I'm paying so much for other phones. This phone does great and originally bought one for travel(unlocked) but now I've bought another to gift as well. Camera and screen are comparable to my regular phone, although i will say that after restarting or first powering onn it does take about 10 seconds of lag, after which it runs just smooth. I dont mind those 10 seconds, I usually dont fully power off the phone anyhow. Pictures and videos are wonderful as well considering the price paid.

I bought this Samsung Galaxy A16 5G 128GB unlocked phone for my father visiting from India, because the Redmi phone he carried from India didn't work here with T-Mobile prepaid sim. This phone worked perfectly no issues. I checked with Samsung reps if this is work in India and they confirmed it will work in India as well. Waiting to see if it will. This phone is dual sim. One is eSim and one physical sim. Quality is really good for the price. Super Amoled screen in this price range is impressive. It's splash proof only but you can't expect anything beyond at his price range.
