I purchased this phone from BB. It has only been a couple of days but so far I like the phone a lot. My last phone was a MO TO that I had for almost 5 years. It was slowing down and no updates since Android 11. I like the idea that this phone will get updates for 5 years. I'd give it five stars with the following exceptions... It only comes with a cord and no plug. The on off switch on the side has a fingerprint reader on it and it takes some to get used to using. The phone is quite thin and I have big hands. That makes it difficult to hold. I just ordered a case - hopefully that resolves my issue. The other thing that is a little annoying is that it is very symmetrical which means when you pick it up you cannot tell if you are holding it screen side up or down. I have to look at the phone to be sure I'm holding it right to hit the finger print sensor. Another issue I hope goes away with the case. I'll update after getting the case. Some complained about speed. I have no issues there but I am not a gamer.

Works great, fabulous screen, good battery life. If you're not too picky about having the "latest and greatest" and are more of a basic user, this will be a just fine device. The update policy Samsung provides is amazing, too. Runs smoother than the iPhone SE 3 it replaced, if that means anything.

I dont like, this is my second one, i had to return the 1st one because it wasnt charging fast and was taking forever to charge and had to almost always leave it on the charger. I dont like how you cant pinch the screen to make things bigger to look at. Sometimes the screen changes on you and you gotta go back to your text to finish it it or back to your page, the phones feel like they get warm. Had trouble withbthe other phone but this one seems to be doing the same thing too even not charging fast but its supposed to cause its made to and the setting is turned on. There is also no way to turn off 5g like there was on my old phone which was a samsung galaxy s9 plus. I do like how the back of the phone and screen feel as in it feels like it would be protected if it was dropped but i don't know if it would be. I also like that the screen is big. I dont recommend this phone because of the charging and how it gets warm and the battery doesnt last all day.

This is an incredibly good phone for the price. I decided to go back to android from my iphone se 3rd gen, and this was a great choice. The A16 has a great screen, higher resolution, faster refresh rate, and better battery life. The performance may be a bit less snappy, but it's certainly a solid phone for emails, browsing and videos. For $200 this phone is an absolute gem, even moreso on sale for $175.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G and I’m honestly very happy with it. The phone feels smooth and responsive for everyday use, and the Light Gray color looks clean and modern, even better in person than in photos. The screen is large and bright, which makes watching videos, scrolling social media, and reading really comfortable. I also love having 128GB of storage, so I don’t have to worry about running out of space for apps, pictures, or videos. Battery life has been great — it easily lasts me a full day and more with regular use. The camera takes clear, nice photos, especially in good lighting, and it’s perfect for everyday moments and video calls. Since it’s unlocked, setup was simple and it works perfectly with my carrier. Overall, this phone does exactly what I need without being complicated or overpriced. It’s a solid, reliable choice, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good 5G phone at a great value.

Love it! I am 50+, so easy to use and basic. I don't need a really fancy phone and no need for gaming. It is fast and easy to use. Large storage and fully compatible with Mint/T-Mobile and probably more. No issues.

I've had for 1 month almost. So far I am enjoying it, especially the battery life and screen. If I have a few apps open at once it might start to lag, only having 4 gb of ram, so I try to close out apps frequently. Just have to keep expectations in check, this is a >$200 phone when on sale.

I was looking for a backup and didnt want anything too expensive. I’ve had Samsung Galaxy Notes before and liked a lot of their features. Overall build quality is nice. I wasn’t expecting high performance based on the ram and price. It functions great for handling only a couple apps at a time. Battery life is awesome. Overall i would highly recommend.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 is a capable cell phone. I cannot see spending over a couple of hundred of dollars and this one was $180. The phone does all the things a phone is supposed to do for a early model, (the current one is in the mid-20s now?) At times, it can hesitate going from one task to the other, but it's minor. The camera is decent and the phone runs all my apps just fine. Setting up with my carrier (Metro PCS) was smooth and was working within 20 minutes of purchasing. If it breaks or lost, I won't feel too bad at $180 and satisfied with the A16.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is a solid budget-friendly smartphone that delivers reliable performance for everyday use. The 6.5" display is bright and clear, and 5G connectivity keeps speeds fast where available. With 128GB of storage, you’ve got plenty of room for apps, photos, and media. Battery life easily lasts a full day on mixed use, and the clean Android interface is smooth and intuitive. It’s not a flagship powerhouse, but for the price, it’s great value for messaging, streaming, social media, and daily tasks. A dependable, affordable 5G phone in a sleek Blue Black finish.
