This was a decent upgrade from what I had but I would also recommend it to people with expensive phones who need a temporary replacement. Only issue is the battery is not great, but it does charge fast.

I did a lot of research, and understood this A17 to be an upgrade over the A42. This phone is weaker in processing power and slower in accomplishing basic tasks than the A42 was after 4 years of use. I will literally have zero open apps, and go to click the app menu and can count to three before it loads. There's significant lag on touchscreen functionality, and it sometimes doesn't even register what is a clear touch action. And the finger sensor is incredible buggy and often does not work. As a budget phone, it is fine, but all I got was a full battery and four years of upgrades out of the purchase - I shudder to think how slow this will be at *that* point.

When my previous phone unexpectedly quit working, I needed something quick and easy to set up. Purchasing it from Best Buy was very easy and transferring it to my carrier service was quick. Great phone for low-budget or teens getting their first phone!

Messaging kind of jumbled. Hard to read. The battery is decent. The screen is very clear. I use it for work. It is hard to hang up a call. I need to play with it more to get use to it
