Great for parents

My mom needed a new phone to be modern but basic, so I had to teach her how to use most of the features. Great phone for someone who needs an up-to-date phone but doesn't want to break the budget.

Drawbacks and a big one is it wont port to just any provider. Spectrum is my carrier and I cannot use this phone with it.

Adequate for simple use

The battery died and no battery replacement in stock. The A17 is not used for gaming or streaming. It processes slower, touch reaction is slower, fewer notification sounds available, screen visuals not sharp. If I hadn't experienced the G21, the A17 would be adequate. The A17 is very durable. I have not dropped a cell phone as much as this one and it still works. A17 is a good value.
