Got one for my ex. I explained to her that it's a low-end Galaxy phone, that's why it's so cheap. Now she's complaining it isn't as fast as her folding Samsung phone that the display stopped working on because there was a crease in the middle of it. You get what you pay for.

This is a nimble, practical device which serves my daily use. Its set up is easy and storage has room to expand. I am still exploring its potential and hope to let it replace my two other cells eventually. I would highly recommend this product.

The G21 was my previous cell phone. The battery died and no battery replacement in stock. The A17 is not used for gaming or streaming. It processes slower, touch reaction is slower, fewer notification sounds available, screen visuals not sharp. If I hadn't experienced the G21, the A17 would be adequate. The A17 is very durable. I have not dropped a cell phone as much as this one and it still works. A17 is a good value.

It’s great phone for the value of the price I actually bought it for my mother and she loves it not to difficult to operate and big nice screen the color blue was amazing highly recommended

Man. I am so disappointed by this. I've had Samsung phones for a some time now, and thought going to a more budget-friendly phone I could buy outright would be doable. WRONG. Here are the issues I've had with this phone in the three measly months I've owned it: -Crashes ALL the time. Literally. The phone screen goes dark, flashes back to the lock screen, goes dark, flashes back, then restarts itself. No warning. Just does it. -CANNOT take a photo. I have literally been able to count to TEN before the phone will take a picture. It is unbelievably slow. I have missed so many moments with my children because the phone literally could not take a photo in time. (Once it does take, the quality is decent--but the odds of your subject still being in focus make that almost impossible) -Missing editing tools. Do you like to be able to lasso objects out of a photo while editing? Using auto-edit from your standard gallery? NOT HERE. This phone doesn't do it, no matter what any website tells you. It's not an option. Click on the "three dots by the editing feature" all day long, but you will not find an object remover. If you're used to these, RUN AWAY NOW. -Gets VERY hot. Like, take it out of your pocket because you're starting to get worried about it. -Lock screen DOES NOT function during calls. It will unlock itself, flash back and forth, and put your call on hold or mute. I have started using the phone only with bluetooth speakers because this is such an issue. (Yes I have checked lockscreen settings. Yes I double-check that I lock the screen.) I just wanted a phone that I could use to listen to music while running, snap a few pictures of my kids, and maybe browse Facebook. I'm not gaming, not creating documents or videos. This phone absolutely cannot keep up with the most basic tasks. The notification I get all the time on this phone is this: "Your phone is running slow. Restart it to speed the system up." or, "System UI isn't working" followed by a prompt to close an app, which then usually initiates a blinky doomesday crash. I sometimes play a little game where I try to push the fingerprint button on the side (which should pull up the lockscreen) so that I can access the phone, and then see how high I can count before it wakes up. I've gone as high as 20 seconds. TWENTY SECONDS TO WAKE UP. Let's hope I never need this phone in an emergency. Because I will most certainly die while it blinks on and off like it's being slowly eaten from the inside by the astrophage of Project Hail Mary.

I was looking for an upgrade for my Galaxy A13 and needed something budget friendly. This phone is exactly what I was looking for, with the capacity to have up to 2TB in memory, a bigger screen and just all around nicer than my old phone... I love it. But I was already a galaxy girl so I didn't have to have my arm twisted. :)

The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G 128GB is an excellent budget smartphone with a bright 6.7-inch AMOLED display, reliable 5G connectivity, expandable storage, and long software support. Battery life is solid for everyday use, but performance can feel slow with demanding apps or multitasking. Great value for casual users and students.

This phone is just what I was looking for. Simple to operate, with plenty of information on it ,some of which I will probably never use. But it's good to know I have it if needed.

I dropped and broke my motorola phone and replaced it with this one , the picture and streaming and transmit fidelity are all excellent , at this price point (unlocked) I think excellent phone

Nice basic phone. I bought this phone because my Samsung S26 ultra was stolen. Since then it was replaced cause of insurance. I decided to keep this second phone as a backbup.

This was a replacement phone for my husband; it was easy to set up, and works wonderfully! Condition was excellent.

Gave as a gift and they havent had any complaints about it at all. They love it. Its a good for a great price. Pictures are good quality. Its great!
