Despite having an on-paper stronger processor, the performance was full of stutters and unresponsive touches. Loading times were also longer and the phone struggled to give smooth performance while doing basic tasks like web browsing and watching videos. It also had problems with heating up during basic use which led to poor battery life. The worst of this was during setup when it overheated and dumped 25% of its battery charge. The process of transferring my data from my old phone was obnoxious because the Smart Transfer app refused to cooperate until it received an update, and the OS refused to update it until all other apps finished installing and updating, with no way of setting the Smart Transfer app's update to top priority. What finally convinced me to return it was when it refused to pair with my bluetooth headphones. Considering that I had to pay a restocking fee on the return I am very disappointed with Samsung for the low quality of this smartphone.

I think for the price it's decent but nothing to write home about. The 128gb storage is great but everything else is ok. If you're pretty used to top-tier phones then I think you'll feel the compromises.
