I thought the Samsung Galaxy A35 would be a nice upgrade to my Moto G Stylus 5G 2022, but it showed itself to be inadequate and was returned. Despite having an on-paper stronger processor, the performance was full of stutters and unresponsive touches. Loading times were also longer and the phone struggled to give smooth performance while doing basic tasks like web browsing and watching videos. It also had problems with heating up during basic use which led to poor battery life. The worst of this was during setup when it overheated and dumped 25% of its battery charge. The process of transferring my data from my old phone was obnoxious because the Smart Transfer app refused to cooperate until it received an update, and the OS refused to update it until all other apps finished installing and updating, with no way of setting the Smart Transfer app's update to top priority. What finally convinced me to return it was when it refused to pair with my bluetooth headphones. Considering that I had to pay a restocking fee on the return I am very disappointed with Samsung for the low quality of this smartphone.

The phone arrived on a tight deadline. I was well worth the buy because I didn't want to buy a more expensive phone.

Perfect entry level phone for my son for a wonderful value. We upgraded him from an A14 Samsung phone which the front facing camera stopped working.

Other than the number of OS updates, I can't think of anything else I like about the phone. Performance wise, my old Note 9 running Android 10, will run circles around it. It will certainly be the last Samsung phone I will ever purchase.

Beautiful color and worth the price. Bought but it for an older adult in my family. She has had an easy time using it and navigating the different features.

The phone serves its purpose at its budget. The camera works well but not the best. If you can get the phone during deals (which happens mostly), then this is the best bet for the bucks.

This product is okay. I think for the price it's decent but nothing to write home about. The 128gb storage is great but everything else is ok. If you're pretty used to top-tier phones then I think you'll feel the compromises.
