A good middle of tbe road phone. It does not have some of the features of the high price phones but I don't need those anyway. Works great for phone, text, emails, and basic functions.

My mom loved it. She had a super slow phone, but this one is fast, has good quality photos, and isn't heavy.

I had the A35 and broke the screen and upgraded to the A36. Almost the same phone, except it does not have the SD Card slot for memory expansion. They should have included that option.

As soon as I got to the phone section, I knew what I wanted and the salemen got the key and got me my phone. i went right to the cashier station and walked right up to a cashier and paid for it. It was all done in a short time, making me happy since it was my half hour lunch.

After owning my Galaxy S20 Ultra for almost five years, it finally gave out. I wanted to hold off until the S26 comes out, so I picked up the Galaxy A36 as a temporary “bridge phone.” I’ve had it for about five months now, and honestly, it’s been rough.
The phone constantly struggles to connect to both mobile data and Wi-Fi — sometimes it just drops service out of nowhere. It’s laggy when opening or switching between apps, and the fingerprint sensor is a complete gamble; half the time it doesn’t recognize any of my fingers at all. The camera quality is also way worse than I expected — grainy, slow to focus, and generally disappointing photos.
I get that I went from a flagship to a base-model phone, but for something that costs around $400, these issues shouldn’t be this bad. At this point, I’m just hoping it holds together for another seven months until I can finally upgrade to the S26.
If you’re reading reviews, take the five-star ones with a grain of salt — a lot of them are from people who’ve only had the phone for a week or two. Give it a few months and the issues really start to show.

Got open box excellent condition. Everything fine so far. I buy phones then use less expensive service. This affordable A36 does the job. Battery doesn’t last as long as new A35.

So far is very similar to the Nokia model I had that was cheaper.
I paid around $350, and is kind of sluggish, maybe because my provider is MetroPCS? Not sure. I still need to compare the quality of pictures. Also, it bothers me that the Samsung system tries to take over how the apps should behave as opposed to Google settings. Probably I need to get more familiar with the phone. I ordered the model online because they didn't have it in the store plus the two gentlemen Selling the phones were not that interested in selling....
